Why hasn’t there been a true, epic historical kino about the greatest general in human history?

He was a slaveowning racist who doesn't deserve to be recognized

Have sex

Shut your whore mouth

That horse is so white it's blue.

Liberal neo-fascists are busy trying to erase him from history

>greatest general in human history?
Delusional mutts actually believe this

not an american but gotta respect the guy
was offered kingship but he turned it down

Washington was a great man, but he miat definitely wasnt the greatest general ever. That would be Napoleon or Alexander.

Washington was the greatest land aurveyor ever.

>greatest general
Uh, no he wasn’t. He was good, maybe even great, but he was no strategic genius like Napoleon or Clausewitz. A truly accurate depiction of his struggles in the Revolution would be A+++ kino though, you’re right about that.

Washington was a lot of things but a good general wasn't one of them.

>Tfw they don’t make 5 hour long historical kinos anymore
>No Napoleon movie
>No Washington movie
>No movies about the khans, the huns, or the greeks

>attacks the French seeking glory and inadvertently causes the French and Indian war
>the result of this convinces the British to station more troops in the American Colonies
>to pay for this americans will have to pay more taxes
>this causes rebellion and revolution
>Washington becomes the wealthiest man on the continent

Really makes you think

>good general
>specialty is ordered retreat
>just because the Brits were gentlemen that didn't shoot retreating officers

Cmon. But the American revolution series is pure kino though

>Neither Napoleon or Alexander have any active lasting influence today though

The stupidity of this post astounds me

Napoleon brought the modern enlightenment republican order to all of Europe.

Much of Europe as we know it now was shaped by Napoleon. Multiple Countries only really exist because of him. Although to be fair one could say if the American Revolution didn't happen and set of the French one Napoleon may have never been able to take power. Alexander's influence can be considering even broader but since it happened thousands of years ago it's more difficult if not impossible to draw a direct line between his empire and the modern world. And regardless modern relevance isn't a way to measure military skill. Hannibal lost the war and his country ceased to exist but he was still a great general.

Who were the most kino of the presidents?

I feel like Lincoln was overrated as fuck

Polk and Jackson, ofc.

>Why hasn’t there been a true, epic historical kino about the greatest general in human history?

There was a tv movie about Washington crossing the Potomac to attack the Hessians on Christmas. It was good.

unironically Richard Nixon.

If done properly a biopic of Teddy Roosevelt would floor any other presidential figures.

Nixon is good just because of the context of his rise and fall in power.

Andrew Jackson is also kino as fuck for not giving two shits and killing plenty of people.

Also Trump is kino as fuck as well

Harrison

Trump and Obama

They have to keep up the cult of lincoln so normies dont realize that he literally started the war, prolonged it, made retarded choices that almost lost it, and arguably eas a fat bigger racist than any plantation owner. Lincoln was the closest we have ever gotten to a fascist dictator in this country.

>he only rates the wh*Toid presidents
Have sex.

>chief justice complains about you jailing people without trial
>threaten to jail him without trial
Truly the greatest president

die already, boomer

>and arguably eas a fat bigger racist than any plantation owner. Lincoln was the closest we have ever gotten to a fascist dictator in this country
sounds based to me

>t. John Wilkes Booth

Because they would unironically cast Idris Elba to play george Washington

you sound really butthurt, no offense

kek

other than not sending the blacks back to africa (which is likely the worst thing a president ever did, if you stop to think about the ramifications) he was based

mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/moment-white-supremacist-engulfed-flames-17479751

why so hot under the collar Yea Forums?
chill

Can you imagine society today if they had been sent back? I had read that it was being seriously considered, but for some reason they decided against it.

>butthurt southerner can't get over losing.
By the way the South attacked first and it's hilarious you've convinced yourself the guy who wanted to end slavery was more racist the the slave owners who betrayed their country so they could keep it.

Kennedy
Both Roosevelts

Probably would be costly and a hassle to send them back in a single organized migration. Much like the founding fathers didn't make it explicit that the US should be kept white and only whites should be citizens because they thought it was just so common sense it didn't even make sense to explicitly state it; Lincoln probably thought they'd be kept segregated and gradually sent away, it wouldn't occur to him the madness that would happen a century later.

The people who fought against slavery were just as "racist", whatever that means.

It was never 'seriously being considered.' It was always a kind of goofy pipedream solution to the race problem that was thrown around from time to time.

Blacks in America didn't want to "go back to Africa" since by 1860 the slave trade had been terminated for decades and almost all of the blacks in the country had been born & lived their entire lives here; they spoke english, worshiped Jesus, and had no real connection whatsoever to their "home land." The American Colonization Society was an organization that tried to pay blacks to send them to Africa and only a tiny minority of them signed up to go (the ones who went would end up becoming a slave-owning ruling caste in a totally artificial country you might know called Liberal whose capital is named after James Monroe).

Neither the Republicans or the Democrats really had the political will to actually try and round up all the blacks in America against their will and force them onto boats

Liberia*

>We got Lincoln and it was pretty good
No it wasn't, faggot. It might as well have been called "The 13th Amendment". It wasn't a story of Lincoln from frontier lawyer to President.

The woke left prevent such things:
>too white!
>where are the stronk females!?
>they were all slave owners, or were nice to some slave owner at some point!
>moar MCU plz!
The age of great films is over.

JFK
>wants to destroy CIA
>doesn't want to continue ZOG Vietnam policy
>tensions with Israel
>banged every hot chick in America (sometimes in the White House swimming pool)

Give me comfy historical dramas to watch while I sip whiskey RIGHT FUCKING NOW

>Nixon is good just because of the context of his rise and fall in power.

Quick rundown?

>t. Yuropoor

>Washington crossing the Potomac
It was the Delaware you fuck. Battle of Trenton.

>Be VP to Eisenhower, who hates your guts
>Lose presidential race to JFK because they were the first debates that were televised and pretty boy beats you
>Finally make it to the Oval Office
>Wiretappings, expanding the war on drugs, give Elvis a drug task force badge, Vietnam gets worse
>Some cocky British journalist tricks you in interviews about Watergate
>I am not a crook
>Resigns before getting impeached, pardoned by Ford.

>started getting into politics in the 40's
>good ol' American fightin' the commies
>was around as a mid-level politician all throughout the 50's and saw all the McCarthy scare shit
>Finally get a shot at the presidency
>some young hotshot steals it away because he looked good on television
>young hotshot gets involved in lots of shady shit around government and hollywood
>he dies, his brother dies, his "lover" dies
>"fuck, good thing I avoided that"
>finally get your second chance after 8 years except this time America is on the brink of tearing apart because the hippies went all out fight the power and wanted communism
>use the silent majority to win and btfo of hippies
>everything seems to be going okay besides that shitty war in vietnam
>and those fucking Maoists
>re-election comes around
>get all kinds of suspicious information about the opposing party trying to use underhanded tricks to get dirt on you
>don't want to end up like hotshot
>order something underhanded yourself to prevent getting fucked
>your henchmen get caught
>you get caught lying about it
>the media latch on to the story
>you don't know how to react
>get really sweaty
>"I'm not a crook"
>opposing party ready to crucify you
>"fuck it I'm resigning"
>your retarded VP takes your place and doesn't do shit
>the country's confidence in politics sinks so low some peanut farmer in Georgia becomes the next
>he does even shittier
>the country then elects a fucking actor whose only saving grace is he also hates commies
>suddenly the country completely rebounds and does so well the commies fall apart and stop existing after a decade
>you slowly rot and be remembered as a piece of shit despite everything ending up exactly as you worked for your entire political career

all according to plan

>(((stonemason)))
just a coincidence

NOW NOW NOW

>the greatest general in human history?
You're right, I don't think there has been a movie about Belisarius.

Speaking of historical drama kino's that need to be made
>we get a god tier movie about life of T.E. Laurence but not Ernst Junger
It's not fair bros

Attached: Ernst-Jünger-1-1-659x1024.jpg (659x1024, 120K)

You bastards are really not gonna recommend me some fucking kino are ya

Lincoln

I mean, historical dramas are usually wildly inaccurate anyways. How about some documentaries, historically relevant movies, or some historical fiction that is comfy af?

>Battleship Potemkin
>The Day After
>the Red and the White
>Battle of Algiers
>Letters from Iwo Jima
>Africa Addio

sounds based

Jackson would be great because he was really good at wars, dueling and fighting irl. Just a shit ton of fight scene potential, which is all I'm interested in anyway.

>No Washingtonkino from his early days as a young man in the British army to him struggling as he pulls out his glasses he needs from the onset of old age blindness addressing pissed off officers close to committing a coup to his last days and a nation mourning

This was actually really good, especially for a TV movie. It’s not theatrical budget-wise, but the script is solid and Jeff Daniels is a believable Washington.
