I can honestly say I don't give a fuck about "news" from any source. That shit rarely affects the one person I care about; me.

this honestly

You also have a million reddit points dont you? Admit it

same, but no TYT, Liberal bias is too strong.

bruh, TYT gets attacked all the time by actual leftists for being too conservative.

Every time they do a segment on economics, Cenk has to clarify 10 times that he's a capitalist.

this but unironically

You really are stupid.

NPR is worse than MSNBC. DESU Try /pol/, Tucker, NY Times, Economist, New Yorker, Foreign Affairs, 60 Minutes, PBS Specials. At the very least try browsing POL to try and unspin your MSM feed. kulinski and pakman are good, but seder comes off as kinda douchey to me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see him debate crowder, though.

>channels

no, he acknowledges that it happened, 100%

and he has had that view for years. It's just a conservative smear at this point.

TYT puts out more content I think than any of the other progressive media, so that's what I find them really great for.

For better analysis, I prefer Pakman who is very logical and careful in his analysis.

Many find Kyle Kulinski more entertaining and relatable and I don't mind him but he does tend to make a lot of mistakes and weak arguments.

I would like to give props to my boy Farron Cousins with Ring of Fire though which I don't hear a lot about. He has a lot of segments you don't hear elsewhere, especially on consumer protection stuff.

TYT is full of sociopaths with ego issues

>at least try POL
>lol Hitler did nothing wrong

Testing consistently places Fox News viewers at more uninformed that those that don't even watch news. It's empirically bad.

I unsubscribed to them back when Donald got elected because they kept uploading at least 5 videos a day about him. What’s funny is that at first they censored his face to not give him attention, then they ended up doing that spam upload spree every single day.

so your only problem with pakman seems to be that he asks for money

sauce me senpai

David Baseman

and that he steals ideas from people. that's actually more important and less defensible. odd that skipped right by it...

Imagine being an Armenian sucking a Turk's cock for a job.

Fyi Cenk isn't a leftist, he is a Turk nationalist here to destabilize US politics and destroy American exceptionalism and nationalism.

which ideas has he stolen? important ideas, not stuff like the set background

>that old meme again

Fox focuses on different topics certainly, so people who watch other networks will have certain areas that they know more about. But the idea that Fox is unique among media outlets in that it's ideologically driven is insane.

I like France 24. They have qts and the coverage is much more global orientated because France maintains her crypto-empire.
Foreign Policy can also be a laugh but it depends on the writer.

Reuters for actual news.

Remember that time they insisted a KFC advert in South Africa was racist because it implied black people love fried chicken? And then when South Africans pointed out that they don't have that stereotype they were called racist and TYT led a social media campaign that had the advert withdrawn from their country?

Erdogan wants a bigger piece of Syria and his pipeline to Saudi Arabia, Trump is a sellout to the jews who want to kill Hezbollah and secure the Golan Heights, you do the math and see the intersecting points. There are no leftists or right wingers in upper level politics, merely motivations and ends to means.

>But the idea that Fox is unique among media outlets in that it's ideologically driven is insane.

It is though, Fox isn't news and gave up any pretence of trying to be.

It is actually unique for a number of reasons. It's not even technically a news network. They are more inaccurate and misleading. Their bias is far more extreme and obvious. Their connection with the GOP is well documented and far exceeds anything on the other side.

They are the worst of the boomer media.

cspan

>Their connection with the GOP is well documented and far exceeds anything on the other side.

That's not the point.

Hannity and Ingraham even campaigned for him

yeah, look it up.

It wasn't a Fox News journalist who was giving debate questions to their preferred candidate. The very fact that you can't see how biased the corporate press is, is proof that you've been raised in the Cathedral. Fortunately, with the rise of the internet, the press is getting called on their bullshit regularly, and they're losing their power.

Actually it was dumbass and then some. Keep up with current events.

No channel was "pro Hillary" in the way that Fox is "pro Trump," though. She was just the blatantly superior choice to any rational, thinking human being, so obviously she was more likely to get favorable coverage than the dumbass reality tv star.

Since when did the left give two fucks about Nike, king of the sweatshops? All a capitalist has to do is be pro-feminism/gay/tranny/nigger/jew and all sins are forgiven lol.

I love the fact that she fucked that one fat guy that runs TYT for her job

I love that she was an absolute sloppy, dirty, daddy's dick-needing whore for him until her job was secure

I love how he probably fell for her and she was like "lol no way fag" and now fucks Tyrone and Habib in front of him while he cries and feels sorry for himself

I love how he's too pussy to fire her because to do so would ruin his life and career, since she now has FEMPOWAH clout, unlimited pussy pass and social media pull

I don't understand why I'm supposed to find it interesting that Trump likes appearing on the network that likes him instead of the ones that call him Hitler.

>The Uranium One controversy is a theory accusing Bill Clinton, The Clinton Foundation, Hillary Clinton, the Obama administration, high level officials in Russia, the State Department, Uranium One, and the FBI of allegedly compromising national-security interests, bribery, and suppressing evidence.[30][31][32][33] All parties denied the accusations, and no evidence of wrongdoing has been found after four years of allegations, an FBI investigation, a House Intelligence Committee inquiry, and the 2017 appointment of a Federal Attorney to evaluate the investigation.[30][31][32][34]

ITT: /pol/tards try to emigrate out of /pol/

lmao remember when conservatives got so mad about reality not aligning with their narrative, that they had to create conservapedia as a safe space from facts?

>2 sources are Vox, literal propaganda
>another is Bloomberg, which states "As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton was officially part of the approval loop, but so far investigations by FactCheck.org and other media organizations have failed to discern whether she was personally involved, and during the presidential campaign a spokesman said she "never intervened" on any CFIUS matter (which, if true, actually seems oddly lax). In any case, what has ruffled feathers here is that by taking over Uranium One, the Russians took control of a substantial portion of America's proven uranium reserves -- 20 percent, according to Rosatom's chief executive."
So Bloomberg's article only speculates, and even notes it is strange that Hillary would be disconnected as she states she was from the dealings.
>using wikipedia as a source

Fun fact: wikipedia is more accurate on average than encyclopedia Britannica.

>genetic fallacy

It's genuinely frightening the alternate reality in which the left lives. I'm optimistic though, because it's becoming harder and harder for the corporate press to maintain their power. 20 years ago, they would've gotten away with their lies about the Covington kids. We never would've seen the Antifa attack on Andy Ngo, but now we do. And the truth will eventually prevail.

Attached: stop making sense.gif (500x276, 470K)

Everything you quoted backs up what user was saying which is that there's no evidence of some conspiracy and all the facts actually don't implicate anything nefarious. In fact, all of the Uranium is required to stay within the US.

Wikipedia fails as a souce since, as I pointed out, it can summarize articles while missing their full content or utilize biased articles as credible, unbiased sources.

why are you pretending to care about andy?

youtu.be/1cPeZLCVWTw

imagine living in 2019 and unironically believing that antifa means fucking anything to anybody. 90% of Americans probably couldn't even tell you what antifa is, that's how little influence it has.

100% of domestic terrorist instances over the past few years have been from right-wing groups. Just last week you literally had the republican party of Oregon calling for the murder of cops.

Stay off the alt-right youtube sphere bro. That shit is mind poison.

Yeah but your context that you provided only backs up what everyone was trying to educate you on.

Pro Tip: Every article you read has a primary source. It's not just Wikipedia that isn't a primary source. Most of them are not.

The amount of ignorance and arrogance in this thread is staggering. You all think you're beholden to some secret truth, but you barely know how to wipe your own ass.

Fuck me you people are stupid.

Attached: 6789.jpg (1280x720, 84K)

This. Unfortunately any secondary news source is influenced by such nonsense.

Euro News feed is solid news channel, France24 is also good.

>Look, I made a chart showing that my favoured news orgs are good, and your favoured news orgs are bad. So it's official now: You're stupid. Oh and by the way, Trump has a 99% chance of losing, my favourite news org said so. And Michael Brown had his hands up and said "Don't Shoot". And here's a picture of Trayvon when he was 10. And here's Hillary paying Russians for dirt on Trump but we'll ignore that whilst we investigate whether Trump committed treason by talking to the Russians for dirt on Hillary
etc.
You're a moron if you think that chart means anything.

The Guardian posted a story not long ago alleging that data shows that married women are miserable. A week later it was debunked and the Guardian had to change the article. Shit like that never seems to effect the establishment media's score, though.

It's actually based on sampling reporting from the various news networks and fact checking them and observing the language used,...but y'know being smug is a good substitute for being correct.

>>It's actually based on sampling reporting from the various news networks and fact checking them

Person 1: Hey my argument is *this*
Person 2: Hey my argument is *that* which contradicts your argument
Person 1: Oh okay. Well I'm going to change my name now to "Independent Fact Checker" and we'll see who wins the argument.
Person 2: Wait, what?
Independent Fact Checker: Person 1 is correct and Person 2 is stupid.

Do you see how this works? Do you see how dumb you have to be to be duped by it?
>b-but they're independent!
Sure they are, kid. Sure they are.

I read BBC.

That's nice head canon.

How it actually works is this:

Article 1: assertion
Fact checker: let me see if this assertion is actually backed by anything or if there is information that debunks this claim
Fact checker: it looks like this assertion is not actually backed up by any facts nor does the author offer a source. In fact, I've been able to verify that the opposite is true.

Article 2: assertion
Fact Checker: Let me apply the same criteria

I understand why you would think this way, it comes from a misunderstanding of the difference between verifiable facts and opinions.

Attached: 1423303675063.jpg (500x376, 186K)

>the amount of arrogance in this thread
>goes on a rant about how everyone else is ignorant and stupid

No. You don't just get to label yourself a "fact-checker" and therefore claim to have no bias and to be infallible. You think the far-left and far-right couldn't do exactly the same thing and create their own fact-checkers to discredit the establishment media? You'd say their fact-checkers are wrong? But they can't be, they are fact checkers! And all they are doing is checking assertions which are verifiable as facts.
>b-but they are biased
And your own fact-checkers aren't?
>N-NO
So let me get this straight. You think an organisation supported through donations by big businesses which support the mainstream parties, which is tasked with fact-checking, and which comes to the conclusion that all the anti-establishment news orgs are wrong, and the pro-mainstream, pro-globalism news orgs are right; you think such an organisation has no bias because it calls itself a fact-checker?

also I remember he went on for 15 minutes about why people who hate jews have lots of good reasons to ("could the next, like, SIX federal reserve chairmen NOT be jews?") before his boilerplate rejection of identity politics.

also Dave introduced me to Scott Horton, who is the best voice on foreign policy.

Styx

No he didn't. He made really stupid arguments that were impossible to defend (women don't belong in the military) and that made it easy for a numale like destiny to btfo him. Like Spencer he's more interested in being edgy and causing chaos than convincing fence sitters. The Jared Taylor style is a much better way of going about it imo.

Actually naming the Jew is objectively the best way of doing anything.

I stopped watching news during the refugee crisis because it just seemed like Jewish teabagging.

I actively switch it off even when that's rude.

You just turned off 99% of undecided normies that will right you off as some loony conspirator. Race realism is the most robust argument the alt right has and smart people like Jared Taylor realize that.

Unironically Philip DeFranco. Huge leftist bias, though.

It amazes me how bad Cenk is at arguing anything. He’s been talking on camera for decades now and he still can barely string a sentence together. Worst is when he does the hurr durr voice and waves his hands around. He must legit have an iq of 90

Most major news outlets, random articles I stumble upon courtesy of Firefox pocket, /pol/ for a laugh but also unironically for something to challange mainstream narratives. Every now and then I also watch TYT to see their spin on things, but it's pretty boring since their biases have become too predictable.

I work for a media company and mainly use spike, ctowdtangle, various twitter feeds, and browse pretty much every website from The Gateway Pundit to NPR. If I didn’t work in media, I wouldn’t ever look at any news ever again

And by Various twitter feeds, I mean news-related ones. Even Breakin911 and BNOwire

No, they really aren't.

With all the Christian jokes he's making, I wonder how long it will take before he's going to convert.

i was hoping this would be a thread about hot newsanchors and instead you fucking turbo-autists turn this into another left vs right culture war thread. i honestly wish /pol/tards could see just how autistic they look trying to seem smart and informed. walk into rush hour traffic, please!

The only watchable ones on the left are Tim pool and Jimmy dore. Everyone else is unhinged russiagate conspiracy peddlers and salt mines.

Green should literally just have C-Span.

But leftists news stations have stopped to hire beautiful anchors.

This was made by a yank for sure. As a Brit, I can safely say the Guardian is the biggest load of wanky shit ever. They used to be fairly factual and non-biased but recently they've been taken over by some nutjob fixated on spreading bullshit science news and Sun tier newsposting. It's fucking awful.

Move the BBC out of neutral too, those fucking kiddy fiddlers. In fact, don't put a single British journalist in the green, aside from possibly the Independent

thehill.com/opinion/white-house/369013-clinton-campaign-deserves-a-full-investigation-just-like-trumpworld
>Bill Clinton was raking in millions from foreign sources with dealings with the State Department, including some of the world’s most shady figures.

>While the Russian deal was pending, he received $500,000 for a speech to a Kremlin-tied bank supporting the sale. During this period, nine Uranium One investors gave the Clinton Foundation some $145 million. The company’s chairman alone donated $2.35 million to the foundation during the pendency of the Uranium One deal. The Clinton Foundation failed to report some foreign contributions, despite an agreement to do so, as well as a pledge by Hillary Clinton in prior congressional testimony. That isn't an objective standard, it's a subjective one.
It's not like say
shorensteincenter.org/news-coverage-donald-trumps-first-100-days/
Something like this
A harvard study which tracked the entire media coverage during the first 100 days, and tracked the positive or negative coverage of trump.
It would be easy to say that a news station that was 50% positive coverage of trump, 50% negative, would be balanced.
Yet, 93% of the coverage of NBC and CNN on Trump was negative.

>The Harvard team found that CBS coverage was 91 percent negative and 9 percent positive. New York Times coverage was 87 percent negative and 13 percent positive. Washington Post coverage was 83 percent negative and 17 percent positive.
It doesn't show any of these sites as being as left leaning, as the objective measure would reflect

>Time, Bloomberg, and NYT hovering around Neutral

D I S R E G A R D E D

Leftists have a really, really, really, really hard time not acknowledging mainstream conservatism without considering it "Hard Right", just look at that gap between neutral and Hyper-Partisan Right. It's part of the games they play, if you aren't hard left or mainstream left you're a Nazi.

My countries public broadcaster.

It's pretty biased and propaganda laden, but they at least pretend to be a bit impartial I supposed.
It's more the "sneaky" kind of bias where they tend to keep the writing fairly impartial, but the actual articles they publish highlight liberal actions and shit. A lot of "female artist nobody has heard of before is doing a pointless art installation to highlight female sexuality" type nonsense.

realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/11/30/scarborough_mocks_media_coverage_of_trump_this_is_why_youre_all_going_out_of_business.html
businessinsider.com/joe-scarborough-new-york-times-donald-trump-2016-11
The "Morning Joe" anchor took aim at The Times for its Thursday-morning article titled "Democrats, Students and Foreign Allies Face the Reality of a Trump Presidency," which Scarborough suggested was too focused on the paper's left-leaning audience.

"This is staggering, it really is," Scarborough said. "This shows that the editors of The New York Times - I have the greatest respect for them - don't get it. This is a 'Saturday Night Live' sketch. You went to a cocktail party the night before and you decided to write this."

Scarborough and cohost Mika Brzezinski argued that large institutions like The Times and The Washington Post were too focused on the "elite cluster" to see Trump's path to electoral victory.

Though he acknowledged that he was equally removed from many Trump voters' reality, Scarborough placed himself in a coterie of skeptical reporters and analysts. They included FiveThirtyEight founder Nate Silver and Bloomberg's Mark Halperin, who Scarborough said was "mocked and ridiculed" by some members of the media for suggesting that Trump could win.

"You had a complete blind spot, and you wanted to keep it that way," Scarborough said. "It was much easier for you to stay in Manhattan and say that they are all racists and bigots."

The trump campaign did communicate with agents from the russian government in an attempt to influence the election by getting information on an opponent. That's important. Whether anything came from those meetings is another matter.
Did Trump try to stop the investigations into him and his campaign? Yes: Gets pissed that Sessions recused himself, fires Comey, tells McGhan to fire Mueller, tells his officials to ignore subpeonas, etc

his campaign is on the hook for their attempt. Manafort, Flynn, Gates, Papadappolous have already been convicted. The president should be impeach so that the investigation mueller started can be finished.

The biggest problem with TYT is the guests host who have no fucking clue what they're talking about.

I guess if you want the most objective, Pakman would be the one. But he can be a bit boring sometime frankly.

What the fuck does whataboutism actually mean?
It seems to me like it is just used to say "stop pointing out our hypocrisy"

it’s one of those buzzwords that people throw out when they don’t want to address whatever you’re bringing up. like all the dumb “””logical fallacies””” it’s just “I can name what kind of argument you’re using, and that means it’s invalid and I win haha I’m so smart because I know what things are called haha!!”

Any replies?

An automatic way to tell if somebody is from reddit. It’s one of the many newspeak words the left likes to parrot along with “racist”, “problematic”, “fragility” ect.

what aboutisms as in you are trying to detract from trump campaign collusion by bringing up something else. Assuming what you put is correct, then yeah sure lets get some consequences going. However, you still brought this up as a distraction.
