Even in the 80s only losers listened to metal.

there’s a scene in adventureland where jesse eisenberg gets into kristen stewart’s car and she’s listening to husker du. it was a nice touch.

way more people listened to 80s pop than metal, retard. and plenty of 80s movies have more alternative music.
>literally everyone is wearing 80's fashion
that would make sense since they're living in the 80s you fucking moron.

We're in 2019 and do you see everyone wearing 2019 clothings or is it mostly people under 25?

>metal
>music
pick one

Attached: 1543820597632.jpg (674x608, 117K)

>2019 clothings
Basically whatever people can fit into since most people are now morbidly obese in America.

most movies are about people under 30.
and 2019 clothings isn't specific enough of a fashion style to even be noticed. what is "2019 clothings"?

at least it isn't some try hard shit where all the characters are listening to underground music. at best you'd have one weird fuck in school that listened to weird music and everyone else just listened to shit they heard on the radio

you can literally go look at photos of people in urban 80s settings and see that literally all of them are wearing 80s fashion.

In 30 years time, when they are making movies set in the 2010's what will they dress everyone in?

Fun Fact: this porn broad was dating Corey Feldman when he was 15.

...funny how he's against sexual predators all of a sudden

>when they are making movies set in the 2010's
i cannot imagine anyone having nostalgia for such a boring, culturally dead fucking decade. and i was a teenager in most of the 2010s, so i should be the most nostalgic of all.

for the girls they will be either instathots wearing yoga pants and all that crap, or they will be art hoes.
i dont know what they'll do for the guys, doesn't seem like we really have a very defining type of fashion other than those gay try hard haircuts from a few years ago.

I haven't been to the ocean in a couple of years. Now that thong bikinis are more popular than ever before, can anybody tell if it's common to see women wearing thongs at the beach? I want to gawk at them like a creep and maybe masturbate underneath of a beach towel.

it's not "common", but they're out there.

attractive women aren't sexual predators dumbass

If you're in America, 99% of the people at the beach anymore are fat minorities and their kids.

depends what beach

Nice.
Not so nice.

Kramer would have a MAGA hat

Iron Maiden wasn't what the average person listened to, although a lot of horror movies used heavy metal.

Like the average American teenager in the early 80s would have listened to Billy Squire or The Romantics or The Bangles. Duran Duran if they're a girl. By the mid 80s some girls got into Poison and Motley Crue, but otherwise metal was a bit more marginal, if still big.

the romantics had a few hits but they weren't really a 'popular' band.

Iron Maiden was a forced Mtv meme that never took off until boomers started wearing hot topic maiden shirts and even then it was a fashion statement. Maiden sucks. Piece of Mind was the only album that didn't bore people to death.

holy fucking based

How do you explain all the hot sexy teachers who fuck minors, lose their careers, and go to jail?

>Iron Maiden was a forced Mtv meme
oh look a retard

Everybody bought Slippery When Wet, but that's probably the most "metal" 80's normalfags ventured. Go to a party in the late 80's and you'd be hearing shit like Roxette playing.

reasonable opinion

cool opinion i guess, but lots of people liked them before they became a fashion statement. they sold out stadiums dude.

laws are evil

I just mean that general sound is what you heard around American high schools back then. Kind of danceable heartland rock and power pop, a bit of classic rock, some new romantic stuff if someone was a little artier or girlier.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a good example of the sensibilities in America in the early 80s. Surprisingly classic rock still. Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, a lot of power pop. You'd hear Bruce Springsteen, Foreigner, Journey, stuff like that.

Nah, Iron Maiden were really big, it's just their fans were the heavy metal kids. There were a lot of heavy metal kids though, especially around the Midwest.

I remember back then, even through the 90s, literally every grocery store and gas station had several heavy metal magazines on the shelves, and you couldn't go to a park without seeing a few headbanger skateboarder kids hanging out over at the edge of the grounds.

Ulrich in Dark was into metal

The X Factor is my favorite Iron Maiden album.

A fair amount of more regular girls were into Def Leppard too, and the slightly more rebellious ones loved Motely Crue and Poison.

And rock music was just big in America, so you just had a lot of 'rocker' types who liked some heavy metal bands to some degree, including girls. Like Judas Priest or AC/DC. If you watch Heavy Metal Parking Lot, you see a lot of goofy looking classic rock type people 'woooing' and chugging beers, and there's a lot of girls there, although they're the rebellious 'white trash' rocker girls who hung out with the smoking kids and probably went on to date bikers.

a lot is two separate words

And heavy metal concerts are still LITERALLY that crowd today, they somehow persist in really large numbers and you'd think you were back in the classic rock days when you're there.

I saw Judas Priest last year and you had your more headbanger-headbangers but also a lot of just really surly working class biker looking classic rock dudes and lots of 'classic rock chicks' with jeans and band t-shirts and long, straight, sandy-blonde hair who just persist in that world. Not even in a retro way, they're just salt-of-the-earth, genuine organic rock culture, still continuing somehow in heavy metal. And I can't emphasize how big it is. Even death metal shows are surprisingly big, and there are even a large amount of headbanger girls at those.

Also, metalheads always had a bad reputation... in the 80s, the average people thought the headbangers were scary bad kids - you kind of see it in the characterizations of Jimbo and his friends on The Simpsons, or Judd Nelson's character on The Breakfast Club... and a lot of them were definitely from rough backgrounds and kind of rebellious, but one thing that always strikes me with headbangers, or going to metal shows, is how fucking kind and chill everyone is. I saw Cannibal Corpse earlier this year and it was sold out when I got there, and within a couple minutes a group of chill dudes drinking beers called over to me and gave me a free ticket.

disgusting and beta

You are severely underestimating Iron Maiden. They're a fucking force - even today - and their shows are always massive. I'm more of a Priest guy but I can't deny the energy in this:

Big long shirts and baggy clothes if they are ethnic, skinny jeans and and screamo band shirts if they are white

TFW I have a copy of "Those Young Girls"
I copied on VHS in the 80's along with "On Golden Blonde" (6 hour VHS)

Hipster Elaine can GET IT, son.

Gay zoomer detected

makes no sense. body hair is masculine, being clean is feminine. you want to suck her dick and moustache if you want vag hair

They're just umashamedly a heavy metal band. Those guitarists still do all the poses like 80s metal guitar gods, I love it. Metal is totally like that. I remember seeing Testament last year and the lead guitarist was just had that image and did all the poses. All of these bands. The only big metal band that really tried to change their image and seemed embarrassed to be a metal band for a moment were Metallica, and they never really recovered from it. They should have just stayed Metallica the metal band.

Judas Priest are still pure metal too. Still dress in leather and there are flames belching from the stage.

>body hair is masculine
no it's not. excessive body hair/facial hair is masculine.
basically all humans have body hair naturally.

>Not wanting a women with a little bit of hair

what are you, some sort of pedo?

Everyone sold out stadiums in the 80s if you were on Mtv. The 80s were just that simple.

Right, but "excessive" is a relative term, so the only way to surely be feminine, is to remove all body hair.
Slightly more body hair than that is slightly more masculine, and the more body hair the more masculine, and so on.

That was her first film. She was 15 at the time I believe. Colleen Brennan was a hot milf too. Traci made some kino back in the day. She should've won an AVN award for pic related movie It's My Body (1985).

Correct
Modern movies set in the 80s don't really use what was actually popular though because it's considered cheesy, not cool

Whitesnake was pretty normie with the preps and yuppies too because of the nostalgia factor trying to sound like neo-led zeppelin.

If you want the aesthetics of a fucking a 12 year old. Adult women have hair.

>If you want the aesthetics of a fucking a 12 year old
>implying that's a bad thing

I have that C-PPO card.

For anyone who doesn't have pedo fantasies.
It is a bad thing.

>Adult women have hair
the less masculine ones don't

A woman with a shaved pussy is entirely different from a child, it's fucking stupid to compare them.

It's your typical "gang of punks harass new teacher, take it waaaaaay too far and he ends up seeking revenge" movie.
