Agreed it was goofy as shit and paced so badly that even the destruction of a major city was made a dull affair.
Didn't help that the CGI was terrible in several scenes and the fucking monster was so stiff for no reason.

You know a films truly reached the depths when it lands the director in jail for tax fraud and has 50 different titles. They also had to remove David Carradine from later recuts of the film as it was just footage from a tv show that never aired and they definitely didn't have the rights for.
