>tfw this is the longest gap between Bond movies since Dalton quit
AAAAAAAHHHHHH LIVING DAYLIGHTS
Great Bond flick, great Bond song.
>Little bit of bush
Golden eye is the best bond film
Fight me
LIKE HEAVEN ABOVE MEEEEE
I'VE GOT A LICENCE TO KILL
AND YOU KNOW I'M GOING STRAIGHT FOR YOUR HEART
The 80s intros are hideous
>Lays you the fuck out.
No. The Living Daylights is the best bond movie.
Dalton is best.
Best Bond song and intro credits.
>broccoli
What a thrill
*autotune*
>t. only seen Goldeneye
THEY CAN CAME CLOSER THAN CLOSER
ORIGINAL THEY NEVER WILL BE
Fuck off Kojimadrone
Best intro for you?
youtu.be
Why the fuck do people like The Living Daylights so much?
Absolute patrician. The sinking of the Devonshire after the titles is also kino.
>triggered
It's got everything a traditional Bond film needs. Great Bond, great Bond girl, great action and fun, great theme, etc.
I'd say Living Daylights is tied with GoldenEye and Casino Royale as the GOAT for me but Kara is by far best girl
Necros was great

>tfw stuck with the awful DNR riddled blu-ray transfer until they release the Brosnan films in 4K
I GIVE MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE, NOT FOR HONOUR, BUT FOR YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUU
And a good henchman, that's also required.
man i was so disappointed when i saw what barbara bach's tits look like without a pushup bra.
d'Abo is so fucking sexy in her Xtro nude scenes. easily the hottest Bond girl in my opinion based solely on those Xtro scenes. and yes, I need to have sex.
youtube.com
I loved this intro desu, reminds me of the naive sexy prime-BLAIR years
Love it when a random henchman or side character gives a main character loads of trouble like this.
Green 4 was a top man
Dalton > Connery > Craig > Brosnan > Lazenby > Moore
That was gay as fuck.
Moore > Brosnan > Dalton >= Connery >= Craig > Lazenby
>liking Moore
Best characterization of Bond up until then, only outdone by Casino Royale, which was blatantly a mix of Dalton Bond with Jason Bourne films, great casting all around, nice soundtrack
Bond is supposed to be an aristocrat and Moore pulled it off best.
Bond is also supposed to be a threatening secret agent, which Moore cannot pull off.
I see you're more of an Aston Martin fan rather than Lotus.
If we're ranking their performances as Bond:
Dalton>Connery>Craig>Brosnan>Moore>Lazenby
Brosnan looked built from the ground up to be James Bond, but there's something off with him in every one of the films. He's legit great through most of TWINE and the first 30 minutes of DAD though
Anyone can be threatening with a PPK
Ok that was actually pretty cool.
Best Bond Song.
Best Bond Girl.
Best Moore Bond movie.
Good ass film.
God, I love Dalton's serious look. He looks fucking intense as shit.
Not Moore. He looks like someone's accountant uncle.
Moore looked like a Stand-up comedian doing a Bond spoof. He had charisma out the wazoo, but he was not a good James Bond.
>based Fukunaga is bringing back the V8 Vantage for Bond 25
KINO
I
N
O
Luv kara m8 but movie is not great. License to kill is superior dalton kino
Nah, the other Bonds felt like they could murder someone at a moment's notice if needed. Not just Dalton, Connery and Craig, even Brosnan who was more cheesy cool type had his moments of menace. Moore felt like he should only be in romcoms.
Bond films are romcoms basically
At least the older ones
One of my favorites.
>not liking Moore
pleb tier desu
Aston Martin Vulcan when?
He has two out of the worst three Bond films.
t.double taking dove
An uncle who would visit you in your bedroom late at night and tell you not to bother your mother.
>What a view!
>...to a kill!
Honestly I love moore but dont like his bond movies
That third one better be Skyfall
This is still the most physical reaction I have had to a movie line ever.
For me, it's Pam.
?????????????????
What the fuck is up with people hating Skyfall? It's the Bond with the most Jedi Dench, and it's great just for that.
It's a view to die for. Or to a kill.
?????????????????????????
I legit love Spectre and I think it's a top tier film up until the awful Austin Powers twist
IT WAS ME JAMES
THE AUTHOR OF ALL YOUR PAIN
Naughty America. Nobody -nobody- does it better.
youtube.com
god-tier soundtrack
They look the same, autismo.
I would also add that the cargo plane fight is the best ever Bond fight scene
>had the GOAT traditional Bond film
>had the GOAT subversive Bond film
In just two films, the GOAT Bond
It's Brosnan's only good entry in the series. It was a steep downward spiral after that, which sucks because he was such a great Bond.
License to Kill is one of the best themes
STOP GETTING BOND WRONG
I didn't say themes, I said intros.
aye I should have been more clear, I was agreeing with you and remarking how much of a shame it was that there was a stark contrast
This but Licence to Kill is the worst
my niggas
Too gaudy and classless. It's a bond movie not a nigger rap music video
This man is delusional.
diaaaaAAAAAAAAAAMONDS
are foreveaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Tomorrow Never Dies is middle of the road mostly but the bike chase is fantastic.
Director separately told Brosnan and Yeoh that they were supposed to be driving so that they'd continuously be fighting with each other to take the handlebars during filming
Man you really tell the difference when DNR is on.
kino
The first hour of that movie is the most embarrassing shit ever filmed
I cringe at it
WHAT A WHOLE SUMBARINE? YER JOKIN?
OK BYE
I consider tomorrow never dies to be underrated, as are Brosnan's other films
World is not Enough is a solid 6.5
Why did the Craig Bond films feel so meh after Casino Royale?
Quantum got hit by the writer strike and then they tried their damnedest to reinvent everyone and soft rebooting their own soft reboot
is this real or not?
Because craig bond films arent bond films. They rebooted the series to try and make it more "grounded". They tried to subvert expectations in casino royale and gave us an average bourne clone then people pretend it's a great bond film because it was so "fresh"
It is.
A View To A Kill sucks. Wrinkly Moore wanders around a house and stables for the first hour of the film.
It's real unfortunately
I guarantee there was a take where Walken looks at the camera when he says the line but they were to weak to put it in the final cut
Cringe opinion. View To A Kill is hilarious
It has moments of unintentional comedy, but half the runtime is hideously boring and the second half is dumb.
because, like everything else in the new millennium, they threw optimism and sincerity out the window in favor of grimdark nihilistic drama to woo millennials who have been constantly shit on by the uniquely terrible circumstances of their generation and can't relate to anything else.
That doesn't really describe any of the Craig films other than maybe QOS
Right lads, cast your vote for worst Bond theme. Has to be the one from Spectre for me, it's just so weak when compared to the themes from the rest of the Nu Bond's, except for QoS
have you even watched the pre-craig bonds? craig bonds are all gritty grimdark dramas that take themselves extremely seriously compared to its delightfully campy predecessors.
I love how Dalton is "the serious Bond" yet they in the Necros assault they have a parrot scene
And it's the same parrot than in the Roger Moore era (yes it is literally the same bird)
Are they? Skyfall is plenty wacky and Spectre is just straight 60s styled Bond film, complete with supervillain, big henchman, evil lair, blah blah.
Only Casino Royale fits the "stripped down serious take" you're saying and that's one of the best Bond films. QOS maybe.

WHEEEEREEEEEEEEEE
HAS EVERYBODY GONE
What's the worst theme song?
I expected minime to run in and start laughing
Writer strike derailed everything and SSkyfall had to soft reboot everything. Their decision to try and tie everything up with Spectre killed it even further.
Spectre is a damn great Bond film though. While Royale has Craig's best performance as an actor, Spectre has his best "Bond" performance. Too bad the script shits itself 70% of the way through.
Only Royale, and that's supposed to be a "prequel" showing how he goess from a cockky sloppy asshole to the James Bond we know.
Skyfall is a Dark Knight ripoff and Spectre is a 60's Bond through and through.
Die Another Day
Idris Elba could
Man With The Golden Gun. Not even the composer liked it, he had to rush the score and song and thought they were substandard.
best girl
not so fast
Pic unrelated ?
Oh fuck this blond moneypenny is so hot
UM GUN DIE
AN-UTHA-DAY
best boy
It is known.
that is terrible, but I think I'd rather hear it than The Man With The Golden Gun theme
Another Way to Die from Quantum of Solace. At least Die Another Day had an interesting credit sequence to take your mind off the song, and even the Man With the Golden Gun had an exciting tempo, despite it being set to some of the worst lyrics I've ever heard. Another Way to Die is boring with mediocre lyrics and a bland credit sequence.
I think you'll find Quantum of Solace had the best theme song.
youtube.com
FYEO, Octopussy, and AVtaK are good. L&LD, TMwtGG, and TSWLM are lousy. Moonraker is somewhere in between.
>Octo/View good
They're wretchedly boring. And hating on Spy Who Loved Me? Get outta here
>THE QUANTUM OF SOLACE (The Quantum of Solace)
>...I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
I need to re-watch all the bond movies. Haven't seen em in maybe a decade or so. Maximum comfy.
say comfy one more time
Best theme song is OHMSS
Fight me.
the spy who loved me does have the part where jaws crashes a car into the roof of a house, then cartoonishly walks out the front door seconds later. great gag. all bond movies up to TWINE have their redeeming qualities.
>The Spy Who Fucked and Sucked Me
>How do you feed the things you seed
I'm rewatching Live and Let Die. They just killed a U.N. guy with a loud noise and black people are murdering whites people and celebrating in the streets. I forgot about all of this kek
Dame Judi Dench is FURIOUS with him.
"JAMES BOND ISSS GOING TO DIEEEE!!!"
He's gone completely out to lunch!
Bond tier list
A- Casino Royal, Golden Eye, Gold Finger, License to Kill
B- The World is Not Enough, Skyfall, The Spy Who Loved me, Man With the Golden Gun
C- Spectre, Quantum of Solace, Live and Let Die, Living Daylights (too disjointed), You Only Live Twice, Diamonds are Forever
D- Dr No (time has not been fair to this film), From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Tomorrow Never Dies
F- Thunderball (song is good though)
The rest I haven't seen yet. Also on another note, Everything or Nothing is A teir
>Get me a make on a white pimpmobile!
kek
Nah.
In Casino Royale Daniel Craig played a more rugged but still eccentric and likeable bond. He still had that boyishness and unpredictiablity to him. After that they made him a depressed and suicidal bore because they wrote themselves into a corner trying to maintain continuity between films
I want Grace Jones to stomp on my nuts to be desu
lotta male celebs did back then
Why does everyone hate Live and Let Die? It's bayoukino.
>She was wearing a strap on dildo in the scene where Roger Moore climbs in bed with her
LALD is unironically my favorite Moore film, and is easily in my top 5. Young Moore helps it a lot; the older he gets the worse the movie honestly.
Oh and Jane Seymour is one of the best Bond girls period, and has aged like a fine wine.
It's bonkers and not for everyone. The hick sheriff character sucks.
You know, given its reputation, Moonraker is actually pretty ok...for about 40 minutes. Then it's like a switch flicks and it goes full retard. By the time there's fifty guys floating around shooting pew pew lasers at each other you wonder how we even got here.
>Licence to Kill (1989) to GoldenEye (1995)
>six year gap
>Spectre (2015) to Bond 25 (2020)
>five year gap
DAMN SON is it getting harder to make James bond films?
>60s-80s
>six to five movies a decade
>90s-00s
>three movies a decade
>10s
>only two
Would have been sooner if Craig gave it up instead of wavering and waffling for years then deciding to return
tfw he'll have been bond for 14 years
I like Craig and all but he really should retire after this one, hopefully in a high note.
also
>Connery
>6 films
>Lazenby
>1 film
>Moore
>7 films
>Dalton
>2 films
>Brosnan
>4 films
>Craig
>5 films(maybe)
all we need is an actor to do 3 films and we will have some what of an order going on.
Horse face tranny sings the theme song.
there's a real continuity throughout all 5 Craig Bond films, so what are they going to do after him? would feel weird if they go back to being one-off stories barely related to one another after that
Nope. A reboot would be ideal. Nobody cares about continuity except comic book nerds. Luckily Bond is for normies which is actually one of its strengths.
Rifle grenades are basically never in films.
What did he mean by this?
Absolutely no one knows.
Such a cold finger!
>Waoh wah wah wah waooh
>Take a giant leap for mankind, Drax
I think they were on their way to a funeral.
It also has the best theme.
Moonraker is kino. The third act in space kinda brings it down a bit but I think it manages to level out by the climax
AND HE STRIKES
LIKE THUNNNNNNDERBAAALL
*fights underwater for 40 minutes*
Eon has been having money troubles for like a decade.
MGM got bankrupt again and Sony lost its distribution contract
WE REPPIN FROM COAST TO COAST
YEAH YEAH
sickening
Tomorrow Never Dies was also good.
>craig
>bond
Remember Lazenby?
Lazenby > Moore >= Dalton > Brosnan >> Connery > Niven > Nelson >>> Craig
beat it
TWINE > TND > GoldenEye = DAD
who should play Bond after Craig retires?
Emma Watson
There are great bond themes but the living daylights is the absolute top of the top.
I liked it.
