Best Spiderman movie ever

>raimifags just have nostalgiagoggles on
Go back to Yea Forums faggot.

If Homecoming was better this must be absolute garbage

These. Homecoming was fucking difficult to sit through even for an MCU/comic fag.

>two turds dont make a salad
are you sure?

I liked it. It was on par with Homecoming

This movie was actually a pleasant surprise. I was sitting there about halfway in thinking holy fuck here we go again, pretty bored and confused that there appeared to be no actual villain and how they were treating Mysterio was super lame to me. However the twist was actually unexpected and the cautionary themes on media fuckery is something I was not expecting at all. I left after the mid-credits scenes and didn't see the final scene because i had to piss so maybe that ruins everything I don't know.

I thought it was fun.

Kinda underwhelmed about the MJ / Peter stuff. But in some ways it fits being honest with the teenage experience.

It's complete garbage.

Nah the end credits scene didn't have anything to do with Spiderman. It explained a few references in the movies and why Fury seemed different after The Blip Nick Fury and Mariah Hill were Skrulls. The same ones from the Captain Marvel movie, while the real Nick Fury is in space with a bunch of Skrulls building something. Presumably with whats left of the Avengers. Could be setting up Secret Invasion storyline for next cycle and where the Avengers are during the movie.

>spider-man has never had a proper film representation

Because comic accurate Spider-Man would be hated by most audiences for promoting almost all the behaviors that are now considered to be incel traits.

Raimi's did come closest though.

>mfw they actually did it

Only for Birdman because he was literally right, they just had to make him the big bad because Liberals are psychopaths.

Mid credits scene is kino. Getting his identity revealed is just what this pussy needs to start becoming a Spider MAN

>In the middle of shooting the next Spiderman movie, JK launches into an antisemetic tirade, screaming at every jew on set about how "6 million wasn't enough" and calls Zendaya a "useless mutt who can't act for shit"
Man, Raime really rubbed off on him

It's beautiful

Just got back from the theatre. Can't believe they made the Daily Bugle into Alex Jones and exposed spidermans true identity.
Didn't stay for a full after credits, was there one or was it only mid credits?

>“Wahhhhh, wahhhhh I don’t feel like saving the world because I’m on vacation.”

Didn’t someone ever tell this little twerp that with great power, comes great responsibility? Oh yeah, I forgot, Uncle Ben has been forfeited for 24/7 Tony Stark worship.

The MCU depiction of the classic friendly neighborhood webhead is aggressively anti Spider-Man and only exists to prop up the ego of Kevin Feige as well as to annoyingly celebrate the pop cultural ethos of his shared universe to almost nauseating effect—Topher Grace with fangs and black goo all over his body held more artistic integrity than this unfortunate cinematic abrasion.

both horrible

it was raimi's 17 year long plan

Spider-Man ribbing is triggering to leftist faggots?
lol figures

Remember when everyone rightfully hated her being cast as Mary Jane and the studio execs desperately bullshit everyone during interviews, telling them that it was a mislead that her initials were MJ?

Jesus, that's small. Hold on, let me post a non-ant version.

This must be pretty bad then

I agree this movie was a little cheesy but they absolutely pulled of mysterio powers pretty good I liked his scenes better then spidermans

Mysterio is a good villain, and with his emphasis on theatrics and creating a "Avengers-level spectacle" I feel like he's an intentional critique on superhero filmmaking as a whole. Look at how he's directing his CG actors in the Storm Monster test scene.

Knowing that Jon Watts comes from a background of making Youtube shorts for fun (See: youtu.be/6tXsO35TQ-0 ) I think this is an especially interesting take on the idea. I'm not sure how to describe it, but there's a lot of subtext to look into filmmaking-wise in Mysterio's character.

The whole version of this was the funniest thing 12 year old me ever saw. Probably one of the first images I saved
>123 times two to the six, jonesin for your fix of the Limp Bizkit mix

There was an after creds. Turns out the Maria Hill and Nick Fury we saw were Skrulls the whole time, with Fury being Talos. Their whole goal was to get Spidey the glasses as a favor for the real Fury, who's in space on a Skrull ship right now.

They also lamented that they couldn't figure out that Mysterio was a villain based entirely around illusions and trickery.

>take quippy character and have him keep to himself in the shadows nearly the tire movie

True but pulling off powers is so fucking easy for Disney, even the shittiest MCU films like Dark World had decent visuals but this film was weak. The actual villain, character and motivation is up there as one of the worst and the first half of the film was really bad with how awkward and boring the school and Nu-MJ stuff was.
