Honestly, he's the best villain the MCU has had yet

Ummm, no

both vulture and him were pretty decent

That illusion fight was fucking neato

>durr I have a grudge against Stark but it's different because now I have a team of people with a grudge against Stark

Oh fuck off.

I hope he's not dead. I honestly thought he was after I finished watching the film, considering how most MCU villains are one-and-done, and him revealing Peter's identity was weirdly spiteful final act. But I guess most people expect him to be back for Sinister Six?

so is the multiverse still happening? it’s mentioning and the movie having the london part made me think of captain britain

the director said they weren’t even thinking about sinister six while making this so it seems they killed him for real

He’d better not be dead, he’s too good. Agree on best villain.

I Thought this was a roman from Spartacus, ive been watching that too much lately. guess ill watch another episode

Cap Britain better be as beautiful and strong as Chris Evans. I want no woke diversity token or mangy woman representing my fair isles!

How many times is this going to be the motivation of a villain? Vulture was the only one after Stane to make good use of it because the character had actual meat to it.

Man, I know Marvel likes wasting their villains, but it seems extra wasteful to throw away Mysterio after just one movie. Especially considering what his "final" act was, and presumably the next Spider-Man movie will focus on Peter dealing with that, it would be weird to see that without Mysterio around.

he is going to be Indian

Yeah, I agree it would have been better off if they just didn't include the Stark angle. Just have him be a guy who was determined to have the world acknowledge him as a hero, and found a sinister way to do that with his technology.

He is alive, Jake didn’t sell his soul for capeshit just for one paycheck

move over sweetie. peace has arrived with her jihad blade

Fuck yes

A Captain Britain by the new Marvel would almost certainly be a Muslim.

his "fake" suit looks way better than "real" ones in mcu.

>white man
>villain

why do they hate us so much Yea Forums

Attached: 1517069294220.jpg (660x716, 53K)

That’s just absurd,

I'll watch it when it's ripped.

Attached: Capture+_2019-07-02-07-09-07.png (943x785, 563K)

I'm just happy they kept Spider-Man white. No doubt there was a lot of pressure to make the new Spider-Man the black morales version.

I’m not bothered watching this, somebody give me a quick rundown of it

I don’t get why they’d do that to us. We’re having huge problems because of Islam, I mean huge. Grooming gangs, political fraud, church burning, genuine misogyny, violence, sex selective abortions, islamification of politics and institutions. It would feel like Marvel was either laughably ignorant of the real world consequences of Muslim migration, or just fucking evil.

Multiverse was a total red herring and everyone fell for it

Yeah instead they erased 90% of white people from Queens and Peter’s school, including all his love interests. The pressure to black it all up must be eating at them. You wouldn’t think the US was majority white with a European heritage from watching Homecoming.

>It would feel like Marvel was either laughably ignorant of the real world
Yes

mysterio faking being “the next ironman” by using hologram tech and drones to simulate the damage done by the fake elemental monsters. he wants to get tony’s super powerful google glasses from parker by manipulating a fake friendship. the glasses have backdoors into everything and can control all tech. he dies but gets his team to edit the final battle in a way that makes spiderman look like the bad guy. he exposes peters identity to the world

Attached: 29AC1251-9283-4BE8-88EE-A10F064435BE.jpg (500x514, 32K)

>the guy from Iron Man 1 who was on the receiving end of the famous 'Stark made this in a cave with scraps' line is evil because he was indirectly emasculated by Tony when Obidiah yelled at him

Cant make this shit up.

yeah but i think they will still introduce it soon. the red herring from mysterio probably also served as a way to get audiences familiar with the idea

lol no, Disney banks on nostalgia too much and the Spider-Man brand was already tainted by the Garfield movies so they couldn’t risk doing something that might confuse the consumers.

Youre fucking retarded if you seriously think that and you need a break from Yea Forums.

Mysterio is the one controlling the Elementals like everyone predicted. In the MCU, the Elementals are made using high-tech projector technology, the real damage that the Elementals do to buildings are done by cloaked drones. Quentin Beck used to work for Tony Stark and was miffed that Stark wouldn't acknowledge him (worst part of the film). Beck gets close with Peter, becomes kind of like a father figure to him, gets Peter to give him control over Stark's drones (which Stark gave to Peter after his death). Peter finds out that Beck is a faker when one of his projectors gets stuck in his web. Goes to tell Samuel Jackson but Samuel Jackson is really Quentin Beck in disguise, super cool projector dimension fight ensues. Beck leaves Peter for dead (stupid move), but Peter is still alive and meets up with Happy. Final fight takes place in London, Beck gets shot by one of his own drones and apparently dies. Mid-credits scene shows Peter on a date with MJ in New York, when he sees on the news a clip sent by Mysterio to CNN that portrays Spider-Man as the one responsible for controlling the drones, and Mysterio revealing Spider-Man's identity as Peter Parker.

Disney has no say in the matter anyway. It's just an all around retarded thought to entertain.

no way, really?

Why? There are calls for Superman and Bond to be black and Marvel gives jobs to neurotic anti-white racists like Bendis, so why is it wrong to think they would blackwash a white character? They’ve already ruined MJ and erased most of the white peers in Peter’s story.

Am I crazy? Wasn't the multiverse already confirmed anyways in Endgame when they used Ant-man's technology to travel to alternate dimensions? That's why I was surprised that Peter was surprised when Beck mentioned the multiverse, I figured it would be common knowledge by now, at least among people related to the Avengers.

The next Captain America is going to be black. The next Thor is going to be female. They've been pushing black Spider-Man for a while now in other media. Only a matter of time till they push him onto the big screen too.

Meh. Not villainous enough. Fitting for Mysterio though. I hope he's not dead. A rematch during the Sinister Six movie is hopefully great. Just put Uncle Ben in the movies already. That's prime illusion material.

Yes, Quentin Beck is mad because he helped pioneer the hologram/memory tech used in Civil War and Stark named his lifes work B.A.R.F. He wants recognition and feels people only care about flying suits with lasers (actual quote) so he becomes Mysterio. He recruits a team of like minded people who were all somehow inconvenienced by Starks existence and theres comically bad flashbacks of each scene including the IM1 scene I mentioned. I wish I was making this up. These retards itt are confusing a good actor and performance for a good villain, because the latter isn't present in this movie.

you are right. it’s just that we haven’t really seen anything done about it yet. maybe captain britian corps or council of reeds someday

they are never going to reference ben outside that one line in homecoming. i was hoping the whole illusion scene that we would see ben but it didn’t happen. it won’t ever happen. tony is what ben was supposed to be to peter

Literally the worst Spider-Man movie ever.
Whoever came up with the titles "Far From Home" and "Homecoming" should be sent back to Disney Channel.

The Mysteriio costume sucks and Gyllenhaal is *sNoRe* as usual. Sam Jackson's Nick Fury in Far From Home and in Captain Marvel has some sort of negro autism.

Spider-Man should be humping Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, Betty Brandt and Black Cat.

Jon Favreau and Spider-Man's Diverse Friends had way too much camera time..

It's not Marvels call to begin with. Sony already put out their black spiderman movie and made sure to include Peter Parker so people would actually give a shit.

Those are Marvel film characters first of all. Second, if you think they actually will push Falcon as Cap like they did with Chris Evans youre a fool. Mackie isnt a pretty boy moneymaker which is why hes only getting a tv show. And if you think Thor leaving Valkyrie in charge of a ragtag village means hes somehow not Thor anymore youre hopeless. Hes still on contract for Guardians 3 and at least one more Thor movie. The movies have never directly adapted the comics they base their stories on to begin with and they wont start now. There will never be a femthor or captain falcon mcu movie, ever. We will see Sam wield the shield eventually but he wont get his own Cap movie. The end of Endgame was just allusions to comic storylines and Marvel Comics/Marvel Studios are still different entities and the SJW nutjobs on the comic side have no bearing on the movies other than the occasional nod.

Tldr there will never be a mainline Spiderman movie with anyone other than the white Peter Parker known to the layman. Same goes for Batman, Supes, etc._

>He dies
>Mysterio
Come on

Played by Henry Cavill

>Quentin Beck used to work for Tony Stark and was miffed that Stark wouldn't acknowledge him
So they're just copying the plot points from Iron Man 3?

>Henry Cavill

Attached: 1562000819913.jpg (953x911, 239K)

pretty much but Gyllenhaal hams it up as a fake hero and villain much better than Guy Pearce,

>and everyone fell for it
Wrong. Anyone with a functional brain that has ever actually read a comic with Mysterio could see this twist coming a mile away. The only people "fooled" by this are MCU tourists that don't know anything about the character.

Good job outing yourself Reddit.

Attached: 1521964328459.jpg (900x900, 59K)

>exposes Peter's identity to the world
Why even fucking bother with the costume at this point?

>all this shit

Attached: 1517476931626.jpg (245x204, 18K)

>the best part of a Spidey movie is the villain
It's just like Raimi's

>sent by Mysterio to CNN
It was sent to The Daily Bugle, an InfoWars parody with JK Simmons playing JJJ as an Alex Jones-type

Syndrome?

Gotta say I really went into FFH just to see Jake give a good performance much like Keaton in HC, but Mysterio was so much worse than Vulture. At least Vulture's motivation makes sense, you see how badly done by he is by Stark at the start of the movie.

But in FFH they hold that stuff back just to keep the reveal that Mysterio is a bad guy, which the whole audience knows anyway, and his whole motivation is that he was behind the scenes in the opening of fucking Civil War. He's Killian 2.0 and boy Jake really hams it up in the second half. They try to make Mysterio believable but really they make him seem more ridiculous. A has-been special effects wiz would have been way more interesting than yet another tech wanker

>exposes Pete’s identity to the world
>When “MJ,” Ned, May, the Vulture, every single Avenger, S.H.I.E.L.D., Happy, Pepper, And fucking Skrulls already know it.

How will he ever recover ...

he actually fake dies and then really dies. parker even confirms it using the google glasses which controlled the illusion

because people think he is a villain now and he is just a kid still

Don't the glasses just confirm there are no more decoys or illusions? That doesn't mean he's *dead*, since he could be easily faking it.

Costumes are too comicy, same with secret identities. The test audiences cringe at them, so they have to be removed for that wink at the camera instead that EVERYONE knows who Spider-Man really is.

Attached: 1532456398615.jpg (1280x720, 103K)

This is fake, right?

>Costumes are too comicy
Mysterio had the fucking fishbowl.

Hahahaha, no.

And how many characters have stealth outfits, or combat leather?

Attached: wrong.gif (320x177, 1.51M)

You guys say this with every new Marvel that comes out. You also say "this is the best Marvel movie yet" everytime as well. I'm not falling for this shit anymore.

Attached: 1494625677796.png (500x301, 207K)

there's so much shit here to joke about that it really is a surprise this isn't like an ironic parody

The only one that's really bad in that aspect off the top of my head is Hawkeye.

I was impressed with how they brought his whole effects and illusions to a convincing screen adaptation. His whole illusion fight with Peter was actually on par with a Doctor Strange visual fight. I don't mind the whole disgruntled Stark ex-employee thing and I hope he survived.

All the boring ones.

I fucking hate this bullshit pushing for my nation's literature being portrayed by pakis. 2 films coming out soon with the dude from slumdog fucking millionaire playing Sir Gawain and David Copperfield. What the fuck is this retard shit?

>Msyterio
>Mr. Illusion man
>Dead for real
>Ever
Lmao come on

>ITT: people who dont know anything about captain britain
you fucking retards

We're on Yea Forums not Yea Forums, faggot

It was a big controversy on Yea Forums when they changed him to a Paki 5 or 6 years ago too, tumblr.

Every single alternate reality has a different Captain Britain that form the "Captain Britain Corps" so it makes perfect sense for one of those out there to have a Muslim one.

It's it some new character called Excalibur because she wields the sword.
Also Marvel are a bunch of hacks for their use of germanic mythology.

all i want is ant-man 3 and a young avengers movie

>makes the wielder of a 6th century legendary sword a muslim

Attached: Paul_Cornell.jpg (391x587, 45K)

>It's it some new character called Excalibur because she wields the sword.
Ah yes, that's so much better.

I didn't say it was better. I'm just saying at least Captain Britain is still white and not a paki woman like ms marvel

>At least a paki is only the rightful heir to the throne of England by virtue of wielding Excalibur.
There's no good version of this story.

>Dr Lizard is putting chemicals in water that are turning the lizards gay!
What did they mean by this?

Yeah. That shit isn't great. You can see the kind of poof cunt to come up with making a muslim woman such a character

Everyone signs multi-film contracts. Doesn't mean he'll actually come back though.

Marvel officially ended with Iron Man and Captain America. Anything after Endgame is glorified fanfic and will only get worse with time

Nah, In IM3 Stark ignored the guy, in this one Stark stole the technology and never gave credit to the creator. Also Mysterio was angry Tony named his technology BARF.

>Tony named his technology BARF
Haha, so funny! I love the witty quips!

They honestly have good villains, cant say much for the protagonists tho

Mysterio was cool, my favourite MCU villain is Killmonger though.

And 2 and 1.

How did Parker survive being hit by a train head on?
