I'm curious if they're going to commit to that angle or not, they could spin it as a kind of 'just nutjobs and conspiracy theorists actually buy it' kind of deal. It just seems like a massive plot point to bury in a post-credit stinger.

To the movie's credit they do a good job of teasing a lot of the reveals. They're properly planned out to make sense rather than be purely for shock value.

Sure the love plot is a bit meh and silly but you have to accept that he's a kid. I found myself thinking back on my teenage memories and thought those were quite relatable, although I was less successful in my school trips loving stuff.

Jake G was top notch imo. He really sold the good guy act to me. I kinda agree that him being used as a one off that was just a normal dude is a bit of a waste.

Jameson is great imo. It's relatable for a lot of people. If they don't make it political, like make him far right or left, I think it could work. The personality would stay the same but the surroundings are adapted to our times.

I admit I left after the first scene so I missed the Skrill bit. But if Fury's conduct is justified, then it's okay, I guess?

It's possibly worth noting that JJJ is presented as a much more direct Alex Jones type in last year's PS4 Spider-Man game, where he's turned to podcasting.

Oh yeah, I have no doubt JJJ will be pictured as an Alex Jones type guy. But is it bad? I don't think so. It fits the character and is an actualisation of the guy. If they keep it apolitical and just as a conspiracy dude obsessed with spider man, I'm all for it.

It was a full on children's film, Mysterio was just angsty, and the best part of the whole thing was a post credit scene. It was barely a mid 5 and a weak 6 if you're a simpleton.

IT seemed really bland, tensionless for the most part, soulless, had only one good scene in it (it was THAT scene with all the trippy stuff), characters still mostly suck and were poorly developed and is just merely "Adequate" like most MCU movies. Only now they are getting really boring and half arsed more than before.

I can't even really form any real good arguments, it was just so generic I don't really remember it much.
