online streaming

There wont be, everything will be streamed, nothing owned.

Digital.

Cute.

nothing really, they're doing 4k blurays and all that and dvd is still outselling blurays

laserdisk is the only good format ever made

is it worth it getting some LDs? A thrift store sells them CIB for basically $3-4 per movie. Any special features of movies that didnt make it the DVD age?

your mom's sex tape lmao

8k UV - Ray

>he doesn’t have a PC Engine built into his laserdisc player

Armageddon

Streaming quality much worse than blu-ray

yeah it would be cook to have clicks and pops in the picture.

Holodecks

BBC.

And to flip it every 20 minutes, then put in the second record after. Yep, that's comfy.

The Laserdisk original Star Wars trilogy is about the highest quality copy of the films you're going to get before Lucas reedited them with CGI.

They might be actually worth something now for that alone.

You can just get them off piratebay though.

currently the only next physical medium that makes sense to me anyway, is some sort of encrypted usb flash drive that houses the movie and security software.

ssd
after that ramdisk

Quantum

smellovision

It's called BDXL, and it already came out in 2010. Most recent 4K UHD Blu-rays are BDXL, which can contain up to 128 GB of data instead of 50 GB for regular Blu-ray.

>ramdisk
And your movie is gone if there is a power outtake ?!

No, they're better than VHS, but worse than DVD. If there's some obscure movie (or version of) on LD then go for it, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

>has no experience with film strips

>Never watched a 16mm film.

8mm is the true autueur format

Hnm, yes, CED is objectively better than other media because 16mm film existed.

Prob because niggers can't afford bluray players or discs.

But this would imply they pay for anything regardless
