Holy feedin' crap louis

American Dad is more superior.

I'm 31, and Simpsons hasn't made me laugh even one time in my life. It's been three decades since they were good.

Family Guy was at least good before the first cancel.

I formerly could

this show does suck, and fuck people who like it

eh i still torrent if i cant find a good pirate feed, but i never really bother to seed

was superior. AD has been worse than family guy for a few seasons. Only zoomers that just started AD will disagree.

This is a very subtle and well-written joke (from season 1 episode 4) in which we see Peter paint a sign for his newly opened bar in his basement. As you can see, Peter adds the letter e at the end of words unnecessarily, keeping with the theme of old-timey English. This is a common trope you see on signs in television and movies. Wikipedia says "Ye olde is a pseudo-Early Modern English stock prefix, used anachronistically . . . A typical example would be Ye Olde English Pubbe or similar names of theme pubs." It is clear to see other letters can be repeated redundantly, such as the second b in the Wikipedia example. However, you can see that in Peter's sign, he didn't add an extra b to the word "pube;" he only added an extra e. This spells the word which refers to a hair in the immediate vicinity of the genitals. Since Peter has the word which refers to a hair in the immediate vicinity of the genitals on his sign—guised as a word referring to an establishment that serves alcohol—it is absurd, which is funny. This humor is further cemented when Peter paints over the e in the word “olde” after apparently giving it some thought, but Peter does not cover up the e in “pube.” It is absurd that he would not realize his accidental double entendre, which is even funnier.
