So what was I supposed to learn from this? What was the theme here?
So what was I supposed to learn from this? What was the theme here?
dunno lol
It's unironically the worst of the four Avengers films. The overabundance of characters really hurts it, no one outside of Thanos is really focused on, and no character gets a good complete character arc. Most of the film is just boring CGI-filled battles.
The original Avengers is still the best.
Consume, turn your brain off and have sex. In any order.
that iron man is cool
>muh purdy actor face
cringe
Infinity War was better than Endgame tho
They are all bottom of the barrel trash
The theme is letting go. They lost because they couldn't let go of the ones they loved. Thanos won because he was able to let go of Gamora.
That sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the greater good, to not give up no matter how impossible it seems and that you're probably not going to succeed without relying on others. AKA anathema to the kinds of weak willed NEETs that hate things just because they're popular.
They did all that and still """"""""""lost"""""""""""
Star Lord pulled the trigger
>duurrrrrrrrr why didn't a movie with 22 characters focus on all of them equally with complete arcs?
this is why the MCU is so good, you can have the big finale do the extremely unique and original thing of focusing mainly on the villain as the protagonist since you have dozens of other movies introducing and exploring all the heroes
doesn't count
1. Loki gave up the cube or Thor, Gamora gave up the soul stone location for her sister, Star Lord couldn't let go of his anger to not gunbutt Thanos, and the Avengers fucked about trying to find a non-lethal way to get the mind stone out of Vision
2. them losing is the whole point since any other movie can do the "never give up!" moral but it always lands a bit flat since you know the heroes will win in the end anyway
3. they lost because Tony was still booty blasted at Steve and didn't call him when he had to so the Avengers were separated
>but it always lands a bit flat since you know the heroes will win in the end anyway
It was the same here 100%.
why
It proves me wrong
He hesitated and it was way too late. Obviously by that point he was gonna be thwarted, he completely telegraphed what he was about to do. If he hadn't been a total emotional bitch, he wouldn't have fucked it all.
It didn't even focus on the villain properly.
Thanos is as two-dimensional as it gets. The film doesn't have good character work anywhere.
that heroes can seem like villains, and vice versa. it's a secretly pro-Trump movie.
>Blu-ray 3D
Why are 3D Blu-rays still being released?
Who the fuck even bought a 3D TV when those were a thing?
Does every film need a message?
Keep seething haha
It really needed Brie Larson
>Who the fuck even bought a 3D TV when those were a thing?
I could care less since due to a brain injury as a child I can't really see in 3D anyway.
