Someone help a brainlet out. I get that Superman receives his superhuman abilities from his exposure to the sun, but what happens if he leaves the solar system? And why would our sun specifically energize him? Do all suns have that ability? I know this is capeshit, but a little interstellar consistency would be nice.

Any yellow star power him and blue stars power him beyond his usual capabilities. He can survive awhile without being near a star but eventually he'll be drained and lose his powers. Superman has left the solar system before, but pretty sure if he feels depleted he can always fly to a nearby yellow star.
