I agree. In reflection, Walt was always a dick. I also never appreciated how much Hank loved Walt. Hank was the good guy from start to finish.

Hank was a condescending cunt to Walt. He underestimated him and thought him a lesser man. Hank paid the price for his hubris. Walt overcame a bunch of cunts (his wife included) to beat the game for a little while, whilst providing good times to thousands. Walt is the hero, though he does not start as one.

No he didn’t, he always respected and cared for him. Hank teased Walt a little about the differences in their careers but there was no malice in it. Any real tension between them was caused by Walt’s insecurities.

Hank showed off his mineral collection to Walt, his new hobby, and shared info on it, but then Walt had to be a dick and prove to Hank that he knew even more than him. Fucking Walt just has to act like the smartest man in the room.
