Mc comedically crosses his fingers as he stares at a rabbi in front of him hoping he doesn’t do 9/11. It turns out the Muslims actually did 9/11 so mc leaps in victory and then takes him and the holocaust denier back to their own time. Holocaust denier now no longer believes the holocaust didn’t happen while the mc now has dark circles under his eyes as he tells him this. A running gag throughout the rest of the show would be whenever a Jew or anyone talks about the holocaust the Mc will glare at them.
A woman works up in a world where everybody is really into boba tea. She just doesn't get it. It later turns out that this is an alternate dimension where boba became really popular. Everything else is the same, but she has to pretend to enjoy boba tea in order to fit in. The show is about her life, loves, job and friends as she tries to make it in the big city.

I have a pretty great idea for the Highlander reboot, even made a treatment for fun. Not sure what to do with it thought. I mean it was a fun exercise, but got me thinking how do ideas get through hollywood? I guess whoever owns the rights finds who they think will do the best job rather than people with ideas approaching the owner.

didn't want to blog post lol. But basically starts with a fight between two immortals. But the twist is a down on his luck bystander gets caught up in middle and is dying. The fight is cut short (not gonna get into the fight scenes, that's a little to autistic, even for this post) and one of the immortals is left with the dying bystander. Because this is a reboot we can mess with the rules a little. The immortal kills himself, a quickening occurs and the power enters the bystander, who is now an immortal is unwillingly thrown into the game. He has flashbacks to the past life of the immortal that saved his life, there's some character stuff, the bystander doesn't value his life, is depressed, that whole thing, but now is forced to life forever to fight. Also revealed the immortal saved the guy's life because he reminded him of his son that died 300+ years ago. Just get sappy with it, in the vein of "who wants to live forever" Of course he meets up with the immortals current girl friend, and she gets taken by the guy from the beginning for a fight mirroring the original movie. Ends with the bystander fighting the guy, winning the prize, which in this reboot is a simple wish. He wishes for the immortal to return to life. Both are now mortal, the immortal gets to grow old with his gf, the bystander doesn't take his life for granted. End.

it has an amazing premise, but fails in execution and becomes a 6/10 movie that some people latch on to more than others. Standard cult movie stuff. Good for a writing exercise though.

Actually I was thinking that there could be a whole episode about it later in the season where he has a fight with his wife or something but then goes and reminisces with about how he became first man. Might be partially exposition dumped beforehand in dialogue, but first episode would just exposition dump that he's the first man and that he has a his time traveling flip phone.
