Suffers from the same problem as Monty Python. It's very funny the first time you watch, but subsequent viewings become dramatically less funny each time. Doesn't have the staying power of some of the other greats like Only Fools or Keeping Up Appearances

Nah Fawlty Towers is just as rewatchable as those series - which is remarkable given there's only 12 episodes.

I hate how it thinks it's being clever with the way the plot is constructed. You can tell what's coming a mile off and the predicaments are frustrating to watch unfold because they only happen because the characters behave absurdly - there are countless opportunities to set things right but they can't because they're comedy characters in a comedy show so they have to do everything the silly, convulated way that causes more problems.
