We discuss films and the history of the medium. You can find /sfm/ in the catalog but you're welcome to share your work or your experiences in the industry.
Last thread was full of great films and it was a lot of fun. Ironically, none of them were comedies. We could start by sharing our top comedies of all time, if you like.
Also, remember to read! Books are just as important as films in order to understand and enjoy our beloved kinos. Start with the Greeks, browse Yea Forums's wiki and share your favourite books in the thread.
I like Louis de Funes comedies like Fantomas, but everything with him is good. Comedies from Chaplin, Lubitsch, Wilder, Hawks and Keaton i also like. Lipský made great comedies. Happy End is a great one from him and Lemonade Joe is a great parody of westerns.
>Perry Caravello believes he has been given a chance to star in a movie called Windy City Heat, a crime film about a "sports private eye" named Stone Fury. However, there is no such film, as the entire project is an elaborate prank played on him by Don Barris and Mole with the help of producers Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla and real celebrity cameos including Carson Daly, Dane Cook, Tammy Faye Bakker, and William "The Refrigerator" Perry.
