Hey guys, remember me?!
Hey guys, remember me?!
kino
How could I not remember the toppest kino of 2019?
>remember one of the rop 5 best godzilla movies?
Well yes
Captain Marvel was better
Yes. I just saw you for a fifth time last night.
>in the past they use to call it Gihdorah
>did she say gonorreah
of course Yea Forums is calling this trainwreck kino
you must be over the age of 18 to understand the subtext and also to post here.
always
you must be under 18 if you actually enjoyed this capeshit tier movie
I am honestly surprised it managed to make it to 370M. I didn’t expect it to hold on that long.
This movie made me actually seriously consider saving up for a full home theater with a new TV. If Godzilla's resurrection scene didn't send a chill down your spine, then I don't know what will.
>waah this movie sucked because muh annoying quips
shut the fuck up
>capeshit tier
ah so you didnt watch the film.
no the movie suck beacsue of terrible dialogue, uninteresting ans straight up boring human characters beside serisawa, cliche filled plot, annoying quips, questionable camera direction, htat in the end dragged the movie a lot, the end result was just a terrible human plot line we some fights in between
live n denial for all i care
>watching a Godzilla movie for the human plot
Ah so you're really just that fucking stupid, aren't you?
from what?
>leh watching a gozilla film for the human plot line
every fucking godzilla movie has one,if they are going to make me watch a 2 hour of human plot line for some 20 minutes of monster fight they at least could make it interesting or good, you know, like in the toho movies.
>full home theater with a new TV
i might do the same desu
Just from listening to the music i get all pumped up, that rarely happens
Rivals the scientist stupidity bar set by Prometheus, but still generally enjoyable.
>like in the toho movies.
you must have not seen Big G vs. Ghidorah in '91
>mfw all the other monsters fucking bowed down to him at the end
Look man, I'm not going to deny that some of the best Godzilla movies also have good human plots, but they are usually pretty simplistic. The plot of Mothra vs Godzilla is about two newspaper reporters trying to convince a theme park tycoon to give back a giant egg to some fairies. The plot of Invasion of Astro Monster is about fucking space aliens trying to steal all the water from earth. These movies have never been incredibly deep.
>but what about Godzilla 1954
It's a melodrama. The characters not really being all that deep is why it's a good movie. The most developed characters are Yamane and Serizawa.
Name a Godzilla movie you would consider 'good' besides 1954 or Shin Godzilla.
What people need to start admitting to themselves is that the 1954 Godzilla is the only good movie in this dumpster fire of a franchise and everything else is dumb schlock (not good schlock)
>too mentally disabled to type properly
Yeah I can see how you could dislike it
I actually love that one, because it's so over-the-top and memey. King Ghidorah is the lamest part of the whole movie, in my opinion.
>What people need to start admitting to themselves is that the 1977 Star Wars is the only good movie in this dumpster fire of a franchise and everything else is dumb schlock (not good schlock)
You can't even type properly, so what gives you the right to critique dialogue?
That is also true for star wars
it was a shitfest, and i loved every minute of it
I like how you even lose your grammar as you get more and more triggered over a discussion you started. Maybe try using facts like an adult, you Chuck E. Cheese fuckbag
I hated almost everything about this movie until I realized they were going to nuke motherfucking Atlantis and I fell in love. I wish it maintained that level of full throttle retardation the whole way through.
Yes but are you going to call the entire Star Wars franchise shit because none of the other movies live up to the original? Sequels almost never recapture the magic of the first movie. What matters is were they enjoyable.
Tokyo SOS
not really.. wait, oh yea that shitty movie I've seen 2 days ago
>Yes but are you going to call the entire Star Wars franchise shit because none of the other movies live up to the original?
Yes? You fucking gecko. If you're supposed to enjoy something while constantly aware it could (and therefore should) be better then it isn't enjoyable at all
best parts imo was godzillas first appearance in the underwater station
(hadn't felt that intimidated and nervous from a giant creature in a movie in a long time, probably since the original Jurassic park)
and the first fight with gidorah and godzilla
the whole movie did what most movies fail to do - actually make the giant creatures feel giant and scary and powerful
bear mcreary did a really good job with the monster themes
>godzilla & mothra get updated original themes
>rodan gets a chaotic theme
>ghidorah gets a haunting theme based around the heart sutra
i hope he comes back for GvK
