Read the first "leaks" of Far From Home

>read the first "leaks" of Far From Home
>saw the trailers and the million teasers
>almost hyped
>now saw the real leaked footage
>it's going to be so shit (villain's motivation especially)
>lost that little hype immediately

How could they mess this movie so much? Homecoming was fresh and interesting, but this one with the copy-paste villain is just boring and meaningless. The MCU truly died with Endgame.
I ain't gonna watch it, that's for sure.

The MCU has always been trash.

Even the first film was shit with all those Iron Man gadgets. There was no feel of danger when you knew he would pull some gadget out of his ass or Iron Man would come and save him. Is it so hard to make a Spider-Man film that doesn't shit the bed?

Why do Jewish people make this face?

Iron Man 1, The Avengers,The Winter Soldier and Infinity War were good, though.

Pretty much this. Leaning the Spider-Man films so heavily around Iron Man has now made them kind of dependent on him and his legacy's involvement. They basically hamstrung the fucking Spider-Man reboot from the start.

What is Mysterios motivation?

The only one of those movies that stands out as its own distinct movie is Iron Man. That's the only decent one, too.

He worked for Stark but no one ever appreciated his work. So he and some co-workers created the "hero" Mysterio to be acknowledged. See? Bullshit. Also he tells the world Spidey's true identity in the end.

It's weird, they did the right thing by casting Tom Holland because he's young and they can milk the franchise, but then they keep fucking everything else up. Spider-Man is supposed to be just a regular teenager with all this power that came to him by accident. You could make the most accurate Spider-Man film to date, but no you keep fucking it up.

I think the casting of Tom Holland and all the good PR he has (think appearances, his meme tier social persona etc) along with the good will of the fans the MCU has garnered already will sadly just be too strong a combination.

There's probably nothing that can make most people NOT eat this shit up even though the Spider-Man films really are and look to be continuing to be average and a lot of missed potential

Ok, you're right, I admit.

Fucking hell! It’s like Electro from ASM2. I thought Amy Pascal would have learnt her lesson by now.

So far Disney Spider-Man or as I call him Diversity Spider-Man is Iron Man and his sidekick Spider-Teen. All of the trailers and now bootlegs videos reference Iron Man or Tony Stark. There is also Jon Favreau bouncing around as a stand-in.

I remember during the Raimi the campaign for Mysterious who would have been played by Bruce Campbell. The Mysterio suit would proabably more accurate too

I get hating the MCU as a whole, but Iron Man 1 is still a great fucking movie and doesn’t deserve to be lumped into the larger MCU like that.

All of Marvel's budget went to RDJ's heels instead of hiring good writers. It's still sameold samey crap they churn out of their formula.

Eeew.. it's like you're asking for it.

I really liked Into the Spider-Verse.

Bar Iron Man.
