Just stick with it, man. If you're anything like me, it's going to fuck with you pretty hard, but if you can hold out, you will hit the point where you don't even want to smoke anymore. The smell of smokers grosses me out now, and I say that as a guy who was damn near two packs a day for the better part of 13 years.

How far out are you? I'm at 21 months right now, and honestly, it doesn't even sound appealing anymore. Given, I went through about a year of pure hell due to having such a fucked up brain chemistry, so maybe the fear of ever having those withdrawals again is what's keeping me away for good.

Same here. But then some shit went down, and I almost had to force myself to smoke again to find some relief. The first 10 cigarettes were fucking disgusting, after that, it went back to "normal".

I know that feeling exactly. I had a particularly shit day, and started rationalizing with myself where I would buy a pack, and only smoke one a day after work as a way of decompressing. I went as far as buying a pack, taking a couple drags, and coughing before the feeling of shame took over, and I thought "Dude, you're already out, why go back?". I immediately put it out after that thought, and crushed the pack up. Definitely know that feeling though.
