more like Raimi was so based
JJJ in Far from Home is lame as shit and a sad shadow of his former self, which is the only thing making the cameo have any worth
they must have realized it was hopeless to recast him and just said fuck it.
Stallone as Rocky Balbao. He is known for his oscar nominated supporting actor roles in Creed and Creed II - but Stallone (like JK Simmons) also played the same character in the Rocky trilogy nearly two decades prior to Creed. He was a fan favourite and the director found a hard time picking anybody else.
congrats this is the most retarded thing I read today
> in the new piece of shit JK plays Alex Jones not JJJ
give me a fucking break. leave it to Marvel to fuck up the absolute best capshit casting of all time
What the fuck is Marvels problem? Why would they reveal peter’s identity to the world so fast?
A character from one "cinematic universe" has been cast as the same actor in a different "cinematic universe" one other time. Can you tell me who it was?
Judi Dench jumping across the Bond reboot
Is he supposed to be Alex Jones?
Why didn't the even make him look like JJJ?
pretty sure everyone who watched him as jameson inherently noticed it was just natural to him. he legitimately is jjj, kinda like how rdj was inherently tony stark. its just perfect
What are the odds that a scene like this will be in Spider-Man 3.

the comics span decades, the movies are usually just one-time things
and usually they only want to test the waters to see if they can get away with a trilogy
This confirms the Netflix shows as not canon, right?
get the fuck off my ship
IF YOU DELIBERATELY SABOTAGE MY PUBLICATION I WILL FUCK YOU LIKE A PIG
How so?
ah cmon, that was fun. jjj hates everything vigilante about spiderman, but genuinely respects him when the chips are down.
They departed too much from the original character, so they had to make him recognizable through casting.
Nevermind
I thought they used the Daily Bugle in the Netflix shows but it's something else
This credits scene is the only time we'll see JK Simmons in the MCU.
I agree. That scene is the main reason why I will only watch the 2.1 version of Spider-Man 2.
Mad Max. Joe from reboot with Tom Hardy was Toecutter in MM1.
Remember when JJ refuses to give the goblin Peter's name even when threatened with death? No nuanced scene like that will ever appear in these new movies.
I see what you mean, I think it's the New york post Karen works for.
>Remember when JJ refuses to give the goblin Peter's name even when threatened with death?
no
He claims he doesn't know who takes Spider-Man's pictures and he gets them in the mail while Peter is sitting inside the room. It shows JJ as principled and brave.
WTF
Thats my only issue too, i wanted to see Oscorp and a budding thing between him and the Osbourns, and also introduce him to the Bugle to get JJ really invested when his identity is revealed later
