Chris Pratt

USA is still a network?!

Idris Elba

i can't suggest any actors, but if they do it right this could be kino. the development of doom was fraught with drama, including romero ruining a long-running D&D campaign because he made a retarded deal with a demon in game.

Carmack is now a black transwoman. Romero is already mixed so a mixed actor plays him. Tom Hall stays as a cringey white male.

>drama
This show is Doomed

>literally all white male cast
PROBLEMATIC
John Romero is basically a white spic so he does not count as a shitskin. We need some niggers and women to represent Id Software when they made their revolutionary game.

he designed more than 3 maps but he hasn't done anything worthwhile since doom or quake

Ana de Armas as John Romero

Come on, the story is full of serious times before and after the Ferraris and the doors getting chopped down with battle axes.
>Romero's shitty relationship with his step dad
>Carmack's mom trying to control his life
>all the backstabbing with members of id getting screwed over because they wanted to do their own things instead of contributing to Doom and Quake
>The Johns losing their friendship and coming to resent each other
>the horrible development cycle of Daikatana
Tell me you wouldn't have chills if they properly handle the scene where Romero walks into the meeting where Carmack tells him to resign.

Talulah Riley as Stevie Case

If they're writers worth their salt it'll be a drama with comedic elements.
Their rise to power, the meeting with Sierra, the moment when they AXED A FUCKING DOOR, and all the insane shit are super fun moments, it's impossible to tell this story without at least some of the loose, laidback style id used to have when making games.

Imagine a scene of Romero walking into his perfect office to develop Daikatana and he sees the fucking glass roof that ruins everything, it's hilarious. It pratically writes itself

He was the energy and hype behind Carmack’s autism. Literally Yin and Yang.

There has to be at least one scene where everyone is quietly working at their computers, then after a minute or two someone who visibly annoyed gets up, smashes their keyboard, and throws it into the pile of them that was sitting offscreen.

>tfw game engine technology stagnated without Carmack

why are amerumutts so obsessed with europe, its not our fault you are too poor to live here

YES, I can already pictrue it, it's perfect

Dilate

Could work if it's like an action B-movie such as Fury Road

What music do they play during the "evil floating point bit level hacking" and "what the fuck?" scenes

Doom is fucking garbage.
>usa network
Ayyyylmao

based creative user adapting a story about making videogames and two friends separating over ego into a Fury Road-esque B-movie

idris elba as romero

>including romero ruining a long-running D&D campaign because he made a retarded deal with a demon in game
tell me more

we had better see some retarded Hackers-style visuals to indicate Carmack's godlike programming abilities

they have Mr. Robot and that's about it

Honestly? I'm hype for the Swamp House arc
