There's honestly no solid proof that aliens have visited earth. You think if they were here we would actually find something considering all the tech and photography available to us now. What would we even want with earth? The universe is just too large for aliens to reach us and it's impossible to go faster then light in the first place, that tech will just never exist.

By that logic, the best thing they could do was just to ignore it, because people like you wouldn't possibly believe that they would just ignore it.
I'm not saying that it's real, but the arguments against certain conspiracy theorist, that are on the form off, "It's too big to keep a secret" or "If it was real they would have stoped you from knowing trough murder/something else", are really weak.

You don't need to keep it a "secret", because you can't. You just need to create and maintain plausible deniability, which is exactly what our governments has been doing since the 40's.
