100%

kike trash

>makes fun of fat people, retards and asians
Why don't /pol/ faggots like it?

Because they ARE retards.

...

catchphrase says no

Don't forget sexual retards hoping to be taken seriously.

Yeah it was. It's funnier than pseuds make out, but goes on a steady decline as the series wears on, and falls off a cliff in the abroad episodes

It depicts brits pretty accurately desu.

based rabbit hole poster

It was solid for the first series, then it became awful because of braindead fans who were the exact kind of people it was parodying.

>same catchprases repeated episode after episode
no wonder amerimutts love this shit, it was custom built for them

It was shit catchprases for chavs /plebbitors

this really, there were some decent sketches but repeating shit made it wear thin pretty fast, and there was a big drop in quality over time.

come fly with me was better imo.

the wig the glasses the catchphrase

Come Fly with Me was so much better. Too bad it only got one season

Most sketches are funny on the first viewing but they really struggled with repeated watches. Good sketches are built on and developed not just repeated 10x.

The first series was kino then it picked up a following and became pleb pandering catchphrase shit.

There’s only one true Brit kino with Matt Lucas

It was fun for a couple episodes, then you realized literally every single episode was the same as the previous and the next

PEANUTS

Five jokes repeated over and over. Trash.

It was fucking shit. I knew it was shit when it was on the air, I have and had no idea how it was so popular, there were literally 5 unfunny jokes repeated

haha men in dresses

oh what a feelin

That was the problem really. They just didn't change anything.
>dude how about the wheelchair retard but in a gas station instead of a library?? hilarious
Every new episode was just the previous episode but in different locations, nothing else changed

>makes fun of fat people, retards and asians
So does Simpsons. Call me when they make fun of arabs and niggers.

I held out as long as I could for Tom Baker's narration but the rehashing made me tap out.

nice, have this rare pepe, fellow user

Computer says no

>portrays people on benefits as lazy fat cheats
>portrays poor people as stupid, dirty, criminals
>dehumanizes fat people
>mocks the trans
>portrays homosexuals as gimpy freaks
>portrays the mentally ill as hilarious freaks to
>mocks manlets as child like and idiotic
>portrays asian women as ugly gold digging whores

how the everliving fuck did they get away with it all?

Because it took a little longer for PC sentiment to take over. There were always grumblings but since social media it's infected everywhere. Somebody can now immediately broadcast how offended they are and get a load of sycophants and faggots to chime and show the world how caring they are.

if the jokes are funny you can do pretty much anything, and it was funny when it started. don't let twitter and clickbait tell you you're not allowed to make jokes about 'thing' it's retarded and only humorless cunts think like that.

It was alright. Nothing groundbreaking but not terrible either.

Reminder Lucas is now a massive leftist who said he wouldn't make the show today.

Everybody who works for Alamy, Shutterstock and all those copyright-squatters deserves to die of cancer and AIDS.

yeh but no but yeh but no but yeh but no but yeh but computer says nooooooooo

david and matt were the BBCs golden boys at the time. both with a string of committee approved charitable causes to shill for and other hit series.

even back then you had vastly better comedy shows to watch in the UK but the plebs would stick with state approved funny men like ricky gervais, miranda heart, james corden
>modern toss
>monkey dust
>phone jacker
>peter serafinowicz
>green wing
>2DTV
>ideal

ye I know

Lemme guess, they voted brexit but love a good kebab.

It was a more civilized era.

>james corden
he needs to go into a fire.

Matt Lucas recently apologised for racism and misogyny in the show and said he would've made it differently. It felt a bit sad to see someone fall from grace like that. A big round gay man, being called a racist misogynist because he made jokes 10+ years ago which would be considered rude to a very tiny % of the population today.

Would it get made today? I know it wasn't that long ago but still

Teletubbies?
