Asher Angel and Jack Dylan Grazer are so handsome.

What was red girl power beside getting fatter and uglier?

Cool it, this counts as CP in Canada.

Is this the best line from a super villain?

I thought it was dumb that the monsters forgot how to become smoke during the final fight.
But there's fuck all to complain about apart from that. This was a way better movie than I expected. I was particularly impressed by how good the characters were. Hollywood goes in for so much boilerplate and place-holder faces that it was a welcome surprise to have a supporting cast who you could actually feel something about. A good fun flick for adults and children alike.
Oh, and the foster sisters were hotties.

it was dumb that the scar is healed and apparently old despite him just having got it

I felt nothing for the fat Mexican retard kid named Pedro or whatever. I wished the little "cerdo gordo" had his stomach pulled open and fed to him by the embodiment of Gluttony.

...

sure, but he was the least interesting one
somebody's got to be the weak link

I agree, it was better than most Marvel films and every other DC film since the Dark Knight trilogy. I didn't know how much I missed decent, light-hearted capeshit. Not too cynical or edgy, nor polished and buffered until it was a nub. The group home stuff gave me feels since I was in a group home once but it wasn't remotely that tight-knit and friendly.

I'll let you know how I feel about it when I watch it. The pirated "web-dl" version drops in about a week.

Blu Ray rips are already up

movies are so much better when they try to have fun instead of just make money

I'm worried about trend-chasing and having countless movies try to follow Shazam. It feels like there are cycles to it all and we're going to go from edgy to fun but the quality will never reach the trend-setting films. I can't explain it very well because I'm a brainlet retard. I just don't want to see directors and writers making movies to capture lightning and in the process audiences receive mountains of sludge for a decade or more.

the missing word is art
movies used to be art
hollywood seldom does that anymore
they just copy whatever latest thing made money
instead of hiring artists who understand what makes a movie good
they fill rooms with 'diverse' groups of undereducated jewish writers
who are only able to regurgitate what they've been fed by the previous generation of pop culture consumers

>countless movies try to follow Shazam
yes, of course

Is Shazam! still the highest grossing film Warner Brothers has managed to shit out this year, which is now over halfway done?

No, excuse me, nm it's Pikachu's $425 million.

They'll call you names for saying the truth, but keep going. The popularity of shazam on this board is the final evidence of what kind of shitter the average poster is.

It's more a matter of then endorsing anything that can be seen as Anti-Disney.
The Shitter-Shattering from TLJ is both real and permanent.

Go back to r e d d i t

it's the most successful either way
until IT probably does better

Damn right it was. It’s still the best time I’ve had at the movies all year.

Tentacle Rape +10.

>Ask it. Ask it if you’re man enough to throw me out of here.

Absolutely agree.

Darla made me feel all funny in her Stacyform.

why don't they put her in everything instead of Tessa Thompson?

Too many white facial features and not a lego-head. We can't have that.

Good God, please yes.

>Magic changes Mary into a different person
Disgusting, she's cute when not superpowered.

I agree. I want Mary to just be Mary. And give her her white suit.

I expected "full potential" to be grown up version and she's in college. Why the fuck did she change into a different person?

so does the blu-ray add extra scenes?

She can't ACT though

there are deleted scenes as a bonus feature, yes

Hopefully it’ll change. You could actually make a decent standalone out of Mary adventuring in the Far Realms and having to fight a corrupted reflection of herself.

she's still in high school and is probably 17
Shazam turns them into 30-something
