I watched that flick back around when it came out or so, I was around 10 and I thought it was so cool. I watched it again and probably the cringiest fucking garbage I've seen, with terrible writing. I suspect anyone that thinks it's an actual good movie only watched it when they were too young, like me.

And you are retarded if you think V for vendetta was better than the comic it was so dumb V is a fucking anarchist not a gay lefty asshole and Watchmen isn't a bad adaptation in terms of translating the comic to the screen but the changes it had turn it to be a regular superhero movie where the heros want to save the world instead of the satire that was the original work where the main character were scum on a dumb suit

I recently read through all of the Manga, and halfway through the first... I don't know what you'd call it, story I guess, it really starts to lose it. The ending isn't as bad as people say, but it's not terrible. Going to Last Order though, fuck... What a shitfest. Book after book of pointless and boring battle scenes with no weight behind them. Diverging into flashbacks about pointless characters too many times for far too long. As for Mars Chronicle, it's every single bad part of Last Order ramped up to 1000. I do want Alita sequels, but I would be perfectly fine if they came up with their own stories and just ignored the source from this point out.
