Where my Boomers at? Can I get some love for the original? I finally watched this shit last night after seeing no trailers/reading no reviews. I was ready to take in this new take on Chucky open-mindedly, but god damn this shit was trash.

This movie was a fucking mess and felt like one of those knock off movies sitting on a blockbuster shelf larping as the real thing. Like "Transmorphers" or "Atlantic Rim". Why do zoomers love this trash? Why are people saying they like and sympathize with chucky. Even Mike and Jay liked it. Do they just not care, do i have that much autism? I will say thought that if somebody asked me to write a script for a new Child's Play reboot/remake whatever I would be stumped and just ask why? Like I don't know what to change or why really. I think the original was fine; not a masterpiece but not worth rehashing or changing drastically yet keeping the same title.
