Terrible taste.

High IQ taste you mean

>Not including Sorry to Bother You.
Take your head out of your ass, and acknowledge that a movie can simultaneously be bluepilled and a fantastic fucking film.

Literally if I had to compile a list which would be labelled "List of movies liked by plebs who don't think they're plebs" the similarities to your list would be uncanny. I wouldn't have War Horse or Deep Blue Sea on there, instead maybe The Artist and Boyhood instead, but aside from that just really insanely similar.

Can I count The Act Of Killing (Director's Cut) + The Look Of Silence as one work?

Holy Motors
Birdman
A Fantastic Woman
The Act Of Killing (Director's Cut) + The Look Of Silence
Seven Psychopaths
Mad Max: Fury Road
Trance (the 2013 Danny Boyle movie)
A Field In England
Flowers (technically a miniseries of 12 episodes but it's so good I can't help but include it)
Four Lions

Not in any particular order. Shame there's a couple of certified kinos like Moon and In Bruges that have narrowly fallen outside of the decade rule. Enjoyed Interstellar, Inception and Dunkirk a lot for what they are but felt it would be a bit silly to include *three* films from the same director in one list.

Also I'm sure there's better films from the last 10 years that I haven't seen, this is just my selection out of those I have.

>Gravity
>The Hobbit
Absolute lmao

Captain Marvel
Drive
Blade Runner 2049
The House That Jack Built
Room
Interstellar
Avengers Infinity War

Attached: comfy.jpg (480x360, 11K)

I haven't seen a new film since 2007.

Am I the only one who hated Split but actually likes M Night Shammyland in general?

I actually think Larson was perfectly cast in Room. She genuinely, irl, comes across as someone who hasn't socialized in 10 years.

Drive
Inception
Django Unchained
Dark Knight Rises
Fast Five
John Wick
Ex Machina
Furious 6
Get Out
Silver Linings Playbook

Sicario
The Drop
Brawl in Cell Block99
The Shape of Water
The Sisters Brothers
BadTimes AT The El Royale
Manchester By The Sea
The Founder
Small Town Crime
Cabin In The Woods
Bone Tomahawk

Of course, I don't watch many new movies so this just might suck.

wtf. how many times do you watch movies you've seen already? are you a young kid by chance? movies should only be watched twice, anything more than that is a hue waste of time. movies arent like music or videogames, how do you get enjoyment out of them after the 2nd/3rd time youve watched one? i havnt watched a movie more than twice since i was 16 (eoe). used to watch Jurassic park, goldeneye and a small handful of comedies (like austin powers, happy gilmore etc) all the time when i was a kid and usually with different people whove never seen them before, but that is fine. as an adult it is a pretty unacceptable use of time.

what movies do you watch often?

you are inventing new ways to be a post ironic contrarian. i like it

the line between authenticity and redditcore is very very thin. it may even be indistinguishable but arrived there by completely opposite means.

trance is an amazing choice! wish I picked it. like where your head is at.

>Split
>It Follows
>Gravity
>The Hobbit

One of the few times I hope this is just bait/trolling because it literally makes me nauseous imagining someone saying this and being sincere. Like imagine seeing the world through that twisted prism, being stuck that way... real spooky stuff to be honest.

Logan
Good Time
Edge of Tomorrow
Whiplash
Nightcrawler
Inception
Fury Road
Grand Budapest Hotel
American Hustle
Man of Steel

My favorite film is Magnolia, watch it at least twice a year. and it's always fun to go back to a film you haven't watched in quite some time, you may find something new on it, and if you don't you may still have fun watching it again. the truth is that i have a shitload of time in my hands, and movies fill it

Why no blade runner? It was one of the only movies I saw this decade and I thought it was the best. Is this a meme thread

OP started as a meme and others ignored him.
Also two other anons listed BR2049 before you aswell

Magic Mike
Blue is the Warmest Color
Her
Thor Ragnorok
Django
Interstellar
Endgame
Wolf of Wall street
Dallas Buyers Club

Take the sincerity redpill
You will be able to
enjoy everything in the same prism
Armond White can begin your training.

Im a capeshitter but Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was just magical to me
Also Pacific Rim and X-Men: Days of Future Past

I considered it but Blade Runner 1980s is so much better.

This is good. I can tell youre authentic. Magic Mike. perfect movie. Mcconoghey. Yes! most honest actor alive. im with you.

Armond White shat on Split and half of those flicks you dumb fuck

I like how it uses the blending of specific subtypes of film noir (classic film noir, Michael Mann-esque neo-noir, 80s erotic thrillers, sci-fi-tinged premise reminiscent of the then-recent Inception despite being written around ~2000) into a disturbing whiplash of moods, it's very much a filmmaker's film, or a film person's idea of a "just for fun" film. Makes the moments that are played gruesomely serious hit all the more harder.

>that scene where McAvoy nonchalantly goes up to the flat and kills the three gangsters including his friend who had nothing to do with the attempted rape without hesitating and you begin to realise he's not the timid fall guy he seems

>Split

Armond White is a troll troll troll. Or he figured out being contrarian gets u noticed. Reminder he said Mr. Deeds and A Serious Man are better than TDK and Infinity War

>Skyfall
>MI 5 Fallout
>Lobster
>Game night
>BR 2049
>Inside Llewyn Davis
>What we do in the shadows
>GOTG 1
>Dragged across concrete
>Nice guys
Granted, I've seen at most 50 movies from the last decade, but not many other movies seem appealing to me. Not only from the advertising that is. I worked in a cinema and saw at least some parts of the movies every day.

I enjoy kanye's music, tobey and leo antics, the book, and carey mulligan but that movie was crap.

>It Follows
More like It Swallows

The place beyond the pines
Hell or High water
Inception
X-men first class
21 jump street
The great gatsby
Split
John Wick

Nightcrawler
Drive
Sicario
The Wailing
Death of Stalin
Ex-Machina
The Witch
Nocturnal Animals
Fury Road
The Handmaiden

bro what armond teaches you is to look at everything through the same prism
he is completely immune to hype, hero worship and trends
he will view bullshit of the week in the same way as he views the so called masterpieces in cannes, and he will like the bullshit better cause it's authentic

nice you are the only one who also put gatsby on your list. we know what the others don't.

split master race.

I actually might consider Logan for capeshit. the xmen is a special series of movies.

also forgot some clint eastwood there. hereafter, j edgar, or american sniper, are all candidates.
