Hard to say. Both are CGI shitfest, hard to call them 'movies' because they are more like a series of video game cutscenes connected together. Titanic also had CGI, but that was marginal and used in very few scenes - you could even remove these and it would still work as a movie. Meanwhile Avaturd and capeshit#2956 is all about CGI all the way, removing it would make them unwatchable.

Special effects should be just addition, not the core. If your movie doesn't work without them then it is shit film, just a CGI spectacle.
