obviously not. even fucking mel gibson is bright enough to make his role in the movie say that they themselves are the invaders, while the vietnamese were literal patriots defending their homes

He is in no way the bad guy, but he's got some serious psychopath vibes coming off him. He's always got a little smile on the verge of creeping into his expression. Dude's a fucking warriors, though.
