Everything we know about wildlife biology tells us we'd find something. Besides that we can watch and look at other animals. We know their food sources. Moose, Deer, Bear, ect. What do Bigfoots eat? Deer often starve to death, it's a very common death for them outside of car. You can't tell me the bigfoots, which require even more a caloric intake than a deer are finding food the deer cant and out eating them and never being seen doing it.

Bigfeet probably have actually developed funerary rights for cremation, burial or even ritual cannibalism, all things that contribute to the lack of remains, either out of necessity for survival or actual cultural evolution alongside humanity. They likely very solitary or live in simple family units and reproduce only ever few years. I imagine they also hibernate. They're also probably massively endangered of not actually already all dead.

I saw a show about it a long time ago on either smithsonian or national geographic. Either way it was a reputable channel for science.
They didn't get photographic evidence but they did find hair. And when it was tested for its DNA against the all of the known hairy species in the US it matched nothing.
They weren't saying it was Bigfoot per se but there is an undocumented species with long hair in the northwest.
