>Littlefinger has to win in some way in the books otherwise the ending is shit
Why? Is grrm not making the point that backstabbers will eventually get their comeuppance as they have no real friends to truly trust and rely on?

Cutest psycho!

Especially the stocks scene.

Littlefinger has plenty of friends, just not the lords

>arys oakheart is a knight of the kingsguard but darkstar is, well...darkstar

did gurm have a stroke when writing this character

gurm said he was surprised that people didn't like darkstar

I read every book about 5 years ago and don't even remember darkstar desu

Joffrey/Sansa were the GOAT couple.

He's a party to treason and directly contributed. This isn't even a Ned Umber and Alys Karstark situation. He fought, he killed, he pillaged. He's a traitor

What if Joffrey was endgame villain instead of Cersei, with Sansa by his side?

Attached: oath_o10.jpg (591x394, 44K)

holy shit

Attached: 1532233631252.jpg (441x484, 46K)

Would be way better than the le smug wine aunt looking at the window that's for sure

How hard would he try to LARP as Bobby B when he hears a Targaryen is coming over? In the books, he's actually got signs of being a competent fighter. Robb beats him at Winterfell but notes it was a hard fight.

Attached: Joffrey_holding_Widow's_Wail.png (442x262, 157K)

I had a dream last night that I was sitting across from Emilia Clarke at a restaurant when someone suddenly came up from behind her and punched her in the head.

What did it mean?

Its a vision user of me doing the exact same thing tomorrow, you gotta stop me

>dany is actually pregnant of Jon's baby
>joffrey says THE WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE IS PREGNANT, SANSA

Why do i keep on getting reccommended that deep fake video of kit "apologizing" for season 8?

Why didn't you saved her, user? You had the prophecy dream. The punch in her head caused a third aneurysm and she died.

I was not there

I like how Widow's Wail actually looks like a Baratheon sword, Tywin wasn't being the meme Cersei was when it came to Joffrey and insisted on his Baratheon heritage.

Oathkeeper's still the bigger sword though, so I wonder if that's Tywin showing dominance over the puppeted "Baratheons".

Attached: WW Sword 5.jpg (1200x651, 308K)

Widow's Wail is ugly as fuck.
Also i hated how they ruined Longclaw in the series with that 'round' handle

Post a similar image for Oathkeeper, I havent actually seen its full hilt

From what i can normally tell, i Dont really like it
Also is it a Longsword or a Hand and a Half sword?

George lost some weight?

It would've been so fucking KINO.
Just IMAGINE a Bobby B-like Joffrey, and a CHAOSH Sansa working together and being a couple.

Why is it that a woman that convinces a couple parents to allow her to burn their daughter to death gets to go out a hero and the father of the daughter who was convinced by the woman that if he didn’t let her do it every person on earth would die doesn’t get to do anything impressive, just has a string of bad things happen to him then he gets murdered by a liar?

Daenerys is the One True Queen, all those who deny it are my enemies. They'll bend the knee or i'll destroy them

Joffrey having Lannister armour always triggered me, why the FUCK does he have that instead of the Baratheon set?

>Joffrey having Lannister armour always triggered me, why the FUCK does he have that instead of the Baratheon set?

Very good point, considering he always talks about how great his father was and how much of a pussy his grandfather was.

>GOT 600 years later
>DNA testing of Joffrey's body
>comes back positive for Baratheon DNA

JUST

Yeah that really is the only explanation

Because lions > bambis

Pretty sure it was another D&D mistake, but in-universe I think due to the siege, supplies were low. The King's Landing armory was full of redcloak Lannister gear, so it was the only thing he could grab and put on to stay safe on the battlefield. It was really bad for PR. King's Landing would still be running on S1 supplies during the Blackwater battle, what with Stannis' fleet cutting off supplies.
Doubt Joffrey had any armor gear prepared for him because no one, not even Cersei, expected Robert to die so soon.

At least he wore some Baratheon-esque stuff, like pic related being the house colors of gold and black, and the style of it being a ponce rendition of Stormlander noble clothes. The stuff Stannis wears on Dragonstone is similar, but obviously of a less expensive fabric. Joffrey's crown was antler-like too.

>Jon isn't even considered for the throne, despite everyone knowing that he's a legitimate candidate and indeed having the best story

Attached: 1553982159778.jpg (463x663, 34K)

How many times does he have to say 'I don't want it' for people to just get off his case at this point?

But he does want it in the books
Also, he don't get to choose

Im listening to AFFC right now and every single thing he says and does makes me wince

Allegedly le most dangerous man in dorne yet his only achievement is slicing a ten year old girl (not even killing her) and running away from Areo Hotah

Sure he does, he can always abdicate. And no, he doesn't want the Iron Throne in the books, he wants Winterfell.

Attached: 1558922279941.jpg (236x363, 26K)

What was she eating? This is important.

Someone should’ve hooked her up with Gendry. He was ready to get married and so was she. Jon was a wishy washy crybaby to the very end.

Attached: FF2183D8-10D0-4B7A-B4CD-FA3F1A082306.jpg (644x338, 43K)

>And no, he doesn't want the Iron Throne in the books, he wants Winterfell
Because he doesn't know he's the true fuckin heir to the iron throne

He was raised a Stark, no way he'd care about the fancy chair in the South.

Remember, bros, that united we stand to protect only legitimate king stand

Attached: 1559623685761.png (472x624, 144K)

So what are the Stannis fags' opinion of Gendry?

"It is not a question of wanting. The throne is mine, as Robert's heir. That is law... I am king. Wants do not enter into it. I have a duty to my daughter. To the realm."
"I never asked for this crown. Gold is cold & heavy on the head but so long as I am the king, I have a duty."
>implying Jon wouldn't follow Mannis's footsteps, aka the king Ned died trying to put on the throne?

Book Jon:
>He wanted it, Jon knew then. He wanted it as much as he had ever wanted anything. I have always wanted it, he thought, guiltily. May the gods forgive me. It was a hunger inside him, sharp as a dragonglass blade

Show Jon:
>I dun wan it

What did they mean by this?

Attached: 5955A92E-3FDA-45E3-AAA9-1B31ACD77AE8.png (300x326, 157K)

Gendry wanted to marry a goblin, something ain’t right with that one

The ruling dynasty is Baratheon, not Targaryen.

He wants to be a Stark and the lord of Winterfell, not sit on the iron throne.

do sansafags exist? seems like everyone hates her.

9 BOOOOOAR/10

Sansa is the #1 self insert for women

Jon/Sansa is the number one pairing on Ao3

Just one annoying tranny.

Show Sansa is trash

He doesn’t know he’s the rightful king so it could change.

Plus he’s also thinking about having a son in that scene which he really wants, more foreshadowing he’s impregnating Dany

There's literally a single one (1) sansatranny that spams these threads from time to time

Hitler never did anything nearly as wrong as what Danny did.

But Jonsa is about as equally cringe as Jonerys. Jon considers Sansa his sister, aside from genetic defects like Jaime and Cersei (though a theory considers this Bloodraven's mental influence forcing them to fall in love, based Preston), you don't feel sexually attracted to your sisters or just about any woman you've grown up with.

Stannis and Shireen are gonna die, it hurts but it's gonna happen. This makes Jon the heir, maybe Stannis even tells Jon after Shireen is dead that if he dies he has to continue on to defeat the Boltons/Lannisters/Aegon/Others.

That's really reaching hard. That's like saying he's gonna resurrect and impregnate Ygritte, because obviously that'll happen if he's thinking of having a kid.
Stannis won't ever back up a Targaryen, he helped depose that dynasty. He might not hate them as much as Bobby B does, but it doesn't mean he'd give up his House's claim to the throne. He'd probably legitimize Edric Storm if he has time before dying.

If there had been one charismatic guy at that council who had friends Bran would never have been made king. Or just one guy who cared about lawful succession. Is that why George planned to kill all the likeable characters like Renly and Littlefinger or rightful characters like Stannis?

>likeable characters
>Renly

Lots of people loved Renly though

>show LF
>show Renly
>likeable
Show LF is this sleazy asshole who is very obviously always plotting something. Book LF is supposed to be the guy who tries to be everyone's friend, and he doesn't seem to have any ambition so they just give him their dirty work to do.

Hitler tried to exterminate a race of people, Dany burned down Sodom

Book Renly was pretty based, but in the show he was meh.

>any version of Renly
>based

Attached: CBCD72DC-31B3-4F9E-ABA2-688C6F617058.jpg (470x600, 118K)

Adorable

The men holding those banners will make me king.

Proof showfags don't understand CHADSTAR

He actually is though.

>Renly never got to give Robert Margaery and make Cersei fuck off
>Ned wouldn't let Renly just capture Cersei's kids and prevent the whole war cuz honor
He became autistic after he left King's Landing and claimed the throne but he was based in the first book. He laughs so hard at Arya beating Joffrey Robert has to force him out of the meeting.

Can you guys give me the best Renly reaction images like pic related

Attached: Smiling Renly.jpg (680x606, 82K)

Him claiming the throne for himself isn't too unreasonable considering that he's next in line after Stannis, an autistic apostate who everyone hates

>Bran the broken? Is he a breakfast cereal?

I dont think she WOULD WEAR NAZI /OR JUST SEXY LINGERIE .. ??

so are the free cities ever in conflict? i mean dothraki cockroaches are probably a pain in the ass but besides their raids and slave hunters do they deal with any political/regional adversaries/wars?

I am talking about their book selves. The Council picking Bran is obviously George's idea

Yes, all the time. Yet another thing Dany's empire could've fixed if George had any sense

In the books how is Jaime not completely fucked right now?

He is. Jaimefags are in denial, but he's totally dying.

See this

How do I win as Young Griff in ck2? Only Dorne and some wild northern mountain clans join me

Attached: 24550384_10210666422362132_1851669558_n.jpg (400x399, 26K)

Jamie deserves to die for what he did, but he needs to fuck Brienne before that happens.

You literally can't. Accept Dany as your Queen like Jon did.

Go siege Dragonstone ASAP to win the first war, and then you just need to siege down KL and take a few additional provinces to win. NEVER marry Dany, having Meereen as an ally is useless, try and marry some Westeros chick.

Why would he be? He can tell Stoneheart that Arya isn't with the Boltons. Unless I'm missing something incredibly obvious he hasn't broken his oath to her.

>NEVER marry Dany
Cringe. She. Is my Queen.

I didn't even mention Darkstar, just mocking the obese retard's writing

It's the way of the world and George supports unity though war, he likes Alexander the great and how he brought warring city-states together and could've had Persia too

I... I shouldn't have read the theories

Attached: tyrion.gif (245x350, 1.33M)

He sure has a way with words.

Absolutely and extremely based.

There's nothing wrong with cities fighting each other. It's definitely better than being the subjects of some targaryen whore

>eggs cooked in fiery Dornish peppers

>marrying a dragon whore
Gendry's father wouldn't have allowed it

Of the night? Is he a moth?

>There's nothing wrong with cities fighting each other
To George there is. And he would've been based to make Daenerys a benevolent tyrannical Empress. Shame his pacifism will have Westeros just agree to put a demonic cripple in charge

Beat Stannis then beeline for King's Landing and hope Tommen is there.

There's no fucking way this happens in the books

He's portrayed Targaryens as bad guys for enforcing their shit through force of arms. Like 90% of the Targs are insane.

For being an awful Hand who almost got all of Westeros killed with his retarded wight fetch idea and drove his queen into the ground with his autistic plans until she went insane and killed millions, your punishment is to be Hand again. Bran, you're supposed to be omnipotent you fucking retard.

Yet he can't stop writing about them and favors writing their history over finishing the books. George is a man of contradiction. And not 90%, not even 10%

Agreed we should all just get along, war bad wmds bad, elective monarchy works

The show really white washed him. It looked like the books were setting up Tyrion to be a bad guy. They also kept him alive just to please showfags.

>more people supported Daenerys after she went full Hitler than before

Is this a failure in the storytelling given that it goes against the anti-war theme or an affirmation in the storytelling given what Tyrion said to Jon in the finale?

How many chapters of winds have been previewed and where can I read them?

Attached: 1535166458577.jpg (1200x729, 160K)

Unintentional redpill

>tfw I always marry Dany when I play Jon Snow even though she’s a useless, even a detrimental marriage alliance

>To George there is.
well he's retarded so that's not saying much

To be fair he most likely doesn't turn completely useless and idiotic in the books either

In my last game, Dany ruled for 80 years and died at 101 year old, cucking her son who only manged to rule for a few years before dying. lol.

He's already despised in the books as a kingslayer and kinslayer

That has nothing to do with him suddenly becoming stupid, though. He could work his way into becoming hand in the end because the books will keep him actually clever.

I don't see him becoming hand especially if he's hand to the mad queen, people already blame him for everything

fuck off to your containment thread with your cancer obsessed faggots

>seething so much you reply to posts made 2 hours ago

Attached: 1559498395278.jpg (360x360, 32K)

Doesn't everyone blame him for everything that went wrong with joffrey's reign as well?

No.

Attached: shiggy.jpg (569x477, 64K)

>a song of ice and double fire
Nah, Dany should have fugged Robb instead

>he hasn't broken his oath to her.
He took Riverrun, not exactly raising arms against Tully/Stark since none died but it is Cat's home after all and she must be seeking revenge against Jaime for it.

Thou Jaime holds Edmure as hostage in the Westerlands and most likely can persuade Cat to let him go since Jaime's gone missing the Lannisters might have Edmure killed for it if they ever found out that Lady Stoneheart is Catelun Stark.

Attached: waiting_for_strangerbus__by_bubug_d5ed0hb-fullview.jpg (1600x1254, 500K)

>How hard would he try to LARP as Bobby B when he hears a Targaryen is coming over?
He'd pussy out just like he did in Blackwater

A lot of people like her, we're just not autistic about it and spend literally all day here posting making threads and getting banned. Sansafags are the smartest people i know and never afraid of anything.

Attached: sophie-turner-glamour-19sep16-rex-b.jpg (810x1215, 93K)

Yeah, even in essos see the bloody hand play

Well, he was really horny in his last chapter so he might actually do it

This post is proof that Dany did nothing wrong aside from leaving a job unfinished.

Yeah, I don't really think he's fucked in the short term. In the long term I assume he's off to die with Cersei, wherever she might be at the time.

Attached: 1556672830211.jpg (614x652, 64K)

You dannyfags are a gold mine, never change.

Dany will take sansa's maidenhood in the books

What a waste

Attached: 220px-The_Night_King_at_Hardhome.jpg (220x261, 21K)

And Moon Boy's for all we know

>>and never afraid of anything.
>afraid to make threads and posts about her

Attached: 1560812543511.jpg (997x1005, 91K)

Does sansa mog daenerys real hard in the books too? Cause i can only see it going the other way around in my mind for obvious reasons.
Either way it'd be hot

Attached: gettyimages-1151992964.jpg (768x1152, 129K)

so at the beginning of the winterfell fight the main white walkers were just standing at the edge of the nearby forest doing nothing. you kill one, you kill all the wights they individually raised.

why didn't they prepare a flanking cavalry (dothraki? vale?) inside the forest fitted with dragonglass in the event the WW's would be dumb enough to expose themselves so far from their army that way? historically, cavalry charges suck ass but their role was always to flank so this would make military sense.

daily reminder that jon stood up and yelled at a dragon wight in the very same episode

Attached: 1546542100831.png (1920x1080, 1.02M)

Why did the night king have a dragon and not fly south to build a new army and flank while his main army attacks winterfell

Say what you will about season 5, but I really enjoyed this scene. Tyrion and Dany are sizing each other up over a cup of wine and realizing they're not that different from each other. It also has some beautiful lighting with the sunlight streaming through the windows.

Of course this is before Tyrion developed severe brain damage and fucked up all of Dany's plans. Maybe she should have killed him.

Attached: T&D.jpg (970x546, 141K)

Was this before or after he made concessions to slavers?

>good guys win at winterfell but have to march south to fight the NK
>meet on the trident, hundreds of thousands of turned smallfolk vs remainder of the northerners
>jon and dany both die killing NK
It could've been so good bros...

In retrospect they should've picked an actress that looks more queenlike and royal. She looked almost like a B movie extra specially in the later seasons at least when she was young she was kinda pretty but that's beside the point

Based

>You poor stupid blind bastard fool. Must I spell every little thing out for you? Very
well. Dany is a lying whore, she’s been fucking Drogo and Daario and probably Moon Boy for all I know.

Jorah kidnapped him and got them both captured by slavers

For me, it's the fact that Jon showed up at Dragonstone for the sole purpose of pissing Dany off and rejecting her.

>doesn't mention Rhaegal
>doesn't actually talk about Varys
>doesn't mention Missandei
>doesn't discuss battle plans
>doesn't make the slightest effort to reconcile anything

This one scene pretty much destroyed whatever was left of his character after the long night.

It was just a prank, it all worked out ok in the end

>Not against inbreeding like Egg; doesn't have kids who piss off every LP for marrying lovers
>Just and wise ruler, history shows he never goes mad even in old age
>lived to be +100, long reign of peace
>Aerys II and Rhaegar are literally who that would be 12th or more down the line of succession once Aemon has a family

Book Sansa is great. In AGOT, she's the annoying character you expect to grow up to join the Lannisters, in opposition to the obvious underdog hero you know you'll love, Arya the tomboy. Except this isn't some YA shit, and she ends up being the least fucked up Stark kid. And to my great surprise I found her internal voice to be one of the best in the series. The fat man really nailed her internal conflict between wanting the world to be one way and starting to see it as it truly is, which makes her deeply sympathetic. Whereas, say, Arya, has barely any internal conflict.

Book Sansa is great, show Sansa is shit, she's a hard character to get right on screen since so much of her story is internal but it helps if you have an actress who isn't shit

I think that's true of a lot of the characters the internal conflict was the interesting part of their chapters.

He's a chad irl, makeup, wig and wardrobe fucked his shit up on the show

>George's favorite House is the Starks
>the most boring tropey family in charge of the tropiest kingdom
What did fat man mean by this?

What was Ned Stark's tax policy?

Silly user, really good rulers don't need tax policies, everyone works for free and lives off the land with only thanks and comradery as reward. Taxes and money in general are for lesser greedier people. That was Tolkien's mistake, not making the kingdom a hippie commune

He immediately apologizes after Viserion died, but doesn't say anything after Rhaegal or Missandei dies? The scene made Jon and Varys looks stupider. Just make Jon go directly to King's Landing if he isn't going to do anything but rehash the scene he had with Dany in the previous episode.

If the last season was trying to convince the audience that the show Jon and the show Daenerys couldn't have worked out, it failed entirely.

Common excuses and why they are bullshit:
>Jon didn't want to be King or King-Consort (or Prince-Consort)
He didn't want to King in The North, but he accepted the role out of duty. If he didn't want to marry the woman he bent the knee to, he shouldn't have actively tried to get into a romantic relationship with Dany. He already got what he wanted from her, and then he started to flirt back and attempt to impregnate her.
>Jon doesn't like incest
Complete lie invented by the show
>Daenerys wouldn't want to share power
Jon was ghosting her and she still sought (and then listened to) out his advice. How can anybody watch Dany crawl back to Jon after being treated like a doormat over and over again, but still buy into this excuse?
>Jon has a better claim
Nothing that abdicating and marrying Dany couldn't fix. I admit that this could potentially problematic, but it's better than the nonsense King Bran ending we got.

The show had Dany's own allies--Sansa and Varys--scheme behind her back, for no logical reason, to put Jon on the throne without his consent or knowledge.

NORF FC

The more I think about this ending the less sure I am George could reach it, even within the context of the books. It's so astoundingly shit.

I honestly don't see why Dany would give a shit about Jon's claim, there's not really proof of it and no one's gonna raise an army to fight for him except the north, yeah people might try to assassinate her but that's been happening to her since season 1, everyone was out of character this season, she wants to take the throne cause she can her claim is just part of that

Still too attractive

Euron's character and the KL plot were awful but Pilou made them worth watching

Attached: DE-Ge0mWsAEkJ8K.jpg (900x1200, 144K)

This truly was a song of ice and fire and I have finally became a game of thrones

Attached: hqdefault (9).jpg (480x360, 10K)

>and no one's gonna raise an army to fight for him except the north
I don't even know if the North would raise banners against Daenerys in favor of Jon. What's the selling point? If he is Prince-Consort, who cares if he is willing to abdicate? Raising arms against Dany would be raising arms against Jon, and I can't see why his own bannermen would do that.

I don't think Sansa's own Arryn or Tully (potentially) allies would want to do that. Why would they risk thousands more solely because SHE is a stuck-up brat who wants independence for the North?

Do people actually like George's descriptions of his characters? Tyrion in particular sounds ridiculous af

Easiest way is to have Jon fake his feelings for Dany the whole time whike thanks to naivety and prophecy Dany thinks she can trust Jon because he's a Targaryen and fellow rider.

And have Bran be clearly portrayed as a nefarious mastermind manipulating people

The Bells taught me that mortally wounding a middle-aged man with one hand, who died to bricks anyway, is more impressive than killing a dragon.

If we are going by the books, there are several passages that allude to Daenerys and Jon actually falling in love. If George's intent is to have Jon manipulate her the entire time, the ending loses its impact when he does kill her, and I don't even like GRRM's ending.

Yes. I prefer the looks of almost everyone in the book better than the show

Clearly George doesn't know where he's going otherwise he wouldn't have taken 8 years and still not finished winds, I bet Dany will still be fucking around in essos the whole book when it comes out

He's joining Stannis in tWoW, right?

Attached: Howland.jpg (487x720, 49K)

Yes, stannis is slaughtering roose and Ramsay in the books

You really think he's going to take winterfell?

He will, and Mel/selyse will burn shireen to rez jon (worst trade deal ever)

Maybe they will if he dun wan it and he just wants to be warden, even then though yeah I doubt they would bother

Based or cringe?

Heres your King in the North Bro

Was this a direct result of Mely and Stannis’ machinations?

Attached: 39B01619-1A2D-411C-9FB3-5B8D946ABD0E.png (385x500, 344K)

>Maybe they will if he dun wan it and he just wants to be warden
I just don't get that excuse. Jon's behavior towards Daenerys at the end of season 7 makes no sense if he wasn't at least expecting a marriage down the line. Jon accepted being Lord Commander out of duty. Jon accepted being King In The North out of duty. Why would he not accept being the Consort of the Queen he loves (whether one believes the relationship or not is irrelevant) out of duty?

People try to find explanations, but the simple answer is that D&D are deceitful assholes on top of being lazy and incompetent. They heavily imply that Dany would have a baby and that Jon wants to impregnate her, and then they don't mention it a single time in the final season. That's more lying than it is "subverting expectations."

GODS I WAS KINO THEN

Did they show him laughing his ass off while they were telling the story about Joff getting mauled like in the book?

>Dany gets totally BTFO in Meereen and flees back to Pentos
>Manage to invite her to my court
>Fucking brings Daario with her

Sorry Auntie I just can't have this

Wasn't that under joffrey's rule too? I wonder how bad it got under cersei's draconian rule. Dany probably saw some degeenerate horror when she was perched on the building that triggered her

>I wonder how bad it got under cersei's draconian rule.
The people didn't seem to mind that a mass-murdering terrorist declared herself Queen despite having no claim to the throne.

they did everyone dirty
is got the worst adaptation in tv/movie history?

FUCK the king

Avatar the last bartender was worse

She probably held them hostage under threat of blowing up the city, but by the point Dany got there I doubt they were physically capable of doing anything. Cersei stopped getting food from the reach when she blew up the Sept, the war of the five Kings already was causing famines, she probably kept her armies fed well enough to function and keep people inside

Why did they turn Jon into Ned 2.0 when so much of his story was about learning to be his own man outside of Ned/ Robbs shadow?

He's not even Ned in season 8, Ned wouldn't let Dany get that way and he wouldn't kill her

>Why did they turn Jon into Ned 2.0
They didn't turn Jon into Ned 2.0; they turned Jon into the meme'd version of Ned Stark. While Ned kept Jon's parentage a secret for almost two decades, Jon has to tell his cousins the truth just because. While Ned's parents were cousins, Jon is disgusted by incest for no reason. While Ned married to fulfill his duties, Jon DUN WANT EHT.

Jon's actions in season 8 just reflect the flanderized views of what House Stark is supposed to be.

I don't know what to think of season 8. There was nothing satisfying in it.

Flanderisation is a major problem with the whole series imo

Qyburn being abruptly killed by The Mountain was cool. The Mountain all of a sudden wanting Cleganebowl was stupid.

The dragon battle between The Night King and Jon/Dany was cool. The Night King trying to 2v1 them was stupid. Not being able to see what's going on was also stupid.

Jaime knighting Brienne was cool. I have nothing to complain about that scene.

I liked podrick singing

Yeah Jon was like Ned'ish at first when he came back and then it just went full meme and he became a caricature of Ned Stark, where he was so retarded he trusted Sansa but Ned never trusted Catelyn with the secret. Jon couldn't even fucking wait until the war was over to let people start backstabbing each other over him.

Why in season 6 is Kevin Lannister such a dick to Cersei?

Kevan is based

Because she's a lying, scheming, sociopathic bitch?

Edward Norton would of made a great Littlefinger

user, is it possible that Stannis and Daenerys were BOTH railroaded into a bad ending, or are you more upset that the less popular character's ending didn't receive the same amount of backlash?

what happen to him again? was it varys or i don't even remember

How would you feel about a James McAvoy LF?

They both got fucked over

I'm upset at the absolute hypocrisy of Dany's fanbase and normshits in general. Dany had heaps of foreshadowing of being a crazy bitch, she tortures children in the novels for God's sake, but when she finally loses it, her fans go "uhhh bad writing that's so out of character for her" like they won't accept ANYTHING where she's not the the yas queen slay heroine they wanted.

But with Stannis, the books and show repeatedly portray him as a man of honour and who loves his daughter, and doesn't just burn people for the heck of it, yet when he burned his daughter all the normshits and danyfans were like "just deal with it, stannis is evil" and shot us down when we tried to point out how he was character assassinated and his storyline butchered.

Am I the only guy that prefers short hair cersei?

Attached: cersei.jpg (474x448, 27K)

Got blown up in the Sept of baelor

Yes. She looks terrible.
Jon was right, her real enemy was at The Wall.
She looks like Final Season Claire Underwood

He would be a great Garlan Tyrell

Even guys like Aegon the Unlikely are pretty mad, even if not Aerys-tier mad.
Elective monarchy at least BTFOs the Targshits, otherwise Baratheon dynasty is the ideal endgame.

Even Lena hated it, she had to wear an itchy swimcap and a wig

If you're a leader in asoiaf you don't get to have clean hands, stannis burns people alive to save lives, you can say that's foreshadowing for Shireen but that's bullshit too

How was the final season to HoC
I stopped watching after the garbage that was season 5

Another thing that didn't make sense of Season 8 was with Gendry still alive he is technically the king since he wasn't at the meeting to abdicate his claim as king.

The leap of her burning an entire city down full of innocents without even interacting with them and the enemy army surrendered (after previously liberating slaves and punishing slavers specifically-- even if some were innocent they were explicitly part of the system, the peasants in KL weren't) is less believable than a man burning his afflicted daughter down for a good omen (after previously kinslaying via vagina shadow and willingly charging into enemy gates after morale went down the shitter due to wildfire).
The truth, however, is that Stannis' and Dany's story parallel each other.

>She looks terrible.

t. homosexual

Her entire character is basically "controlled rage". As opposed to Kelly C's uncontrolled rage.

Attached: giphy (3).gif (500x266, 1002K)

No because Stannis in the books had said "we don't burn people for lolz". Meanwhile, Dany is established both in the books and show to not be above burning innocent people. She burnt a random nobleman in Mereen just to intimidate others for no reason; she tortures children in the books. Daenerys becoming a total psychopath makes sense. For Stannis it doesn't.

Attached: nHB6HjZ_d.jpg (640x738, 55K)

Did you go through the OP's post history to establish that they are pro-Dany and anti-Stannis, or did you project your own gripes with the show's mistreatment of Stannis onto that poster?

I have seen this repost multiple times, but I don't understand your point. Stannis got railroaded. I agree. You agree. Yea Forums agrees. It is possible to agree with you and also agree that Daenerys was railroaded. Even your copypasta betrays your bias by your use of language:
>Stannis gets uncharacteristically turned into a villain
>Dany gets turned into a villain
Even if one hates Daenerys, the setup to her descent into omnicidal maniac and the execution make no sense.

You took a screencap from r/asoiaf. r/asoiaf might not be as autistically devoted to Stannis as Yea Forums is, but they don't hate him nearly as much as the "normies" do. Dany's heel turn was rejected by them for the same reason it was rejected here and many other communities: it was abrupt and it didn't make sense.

I’m sure it was trash, i think I stopped at 3

Attached: 9760638D-BBF9-492C-A6E6-DAFB7A3A4AC4.jpg (1024x512, 74K)

There literally is a good reason, trying to root out terrorism that was causing a lot of deaths, same in the books with the children

Stannis was written that way the entire time. D&D hated him because of Renly. That's why he was Mel's and the Red Demon's dog, literally begging for her pussy. He was shown that he'd kill anyone for his kingdom.

Dany went from saving humanity to randomly burning her own people for no reason after she had won already. This is like the weather clearing up and then Stannis burns his daughter. There wasn't enough money to film another huge battle, so instead of Dany killing people as collateral damage against Aegon/Cersei, she just randomly torches the place for no reason after the fact.

She's the worst possible Cersei. Amber Heard would've been much better and more fitting for Cersei, looks wise.

Amber Heard now. Amber Heard 10 years ago?

Based, wish you a happy and large brood of children

Still would work fine.

Attached: The Joneses 003.jpg (4288x2848, 2.72M)

She's a pretty great cersei honestly, they just poorly adapted her character

She’s too young to play Jack Gleason’s mother and casting someone else as him would be a tragedy, Joffrey was one of the best cast characters on the show.

No Val?

So every other one of her contemporaries (e.g., Ned, Robert, Jaime, Stannis, Littlefinger, etc.,) are played by actors in their 30's or 40's, but you think having a 24-yesr-old Amber Heard as Cersei is more believable? If you want to age-down large portions of the cast.

>marrying a wildling

ew

I'm pretty sure it was a matter of shock value over cost, way more people would be talking about it the way they portrayed it rather than it just being collateral damage, even though how it happened was totally illogical it's controversial and gets the people going

>Jack Gleason

To the moon, Sansa!

Lol

To be honest, I never really cared much for /got/

NEW

>all the evil stuff that Daenerys did
>pointing it out is sexist

did you not read the post? That's my problem with it. People assmad about Dany becoming evil are essentially the SJW part of the fanbase.

i dont know why i find this pic so arousing...

Renly was an asshole and a traitor and a fag (literally). He tried to usurp the throne from his own brother who was older and rightfully the heir because "hurr I'm more popular". He's literally the embodiment of a catty petty gay person who values social status and popularity above any true integrity and would bitch about their friends behind their back while smiling to their face.

The only mistake was keeping her hair short.

>Dany becoming evil
The problem is that it's not some gradual descent, it's a fucking lightswitch. You never even see who flicks that switch or why. It's jarring, incredibly poorly executed, and calling people SJWs for pointing that out is so astoundingly obtuse that I can only assume this is bait.

>i dont drink wine, do you have any lemon water (unsweetened)?

Was this a real line or a parody of YuyuHakusho?
