I'm not one to scream "Russian troll/propaganda" at things that I disagree with, but you're clearly a Russian troll. The show was very accurate for a dramatisation of a real event. One of the main things I was thinking about while watching was that Chernobyl wasn't a uniquely Soviet accident. There have definitely been times when Western governments and companies have hidden huge flaws in infrastructure to save costs, and disasters have ensued.

I also think they don't paint Communists as stupid or bad. Aside from a soldier forcing that guy to look into the reactor, the Communist system doesn't look hugely different from what we have now in certain countries. We also have a bunch of idiots in bureaucracy and are spied upon by the government, except in Chernobyl the KGB were physically spying instead of digitally. I think the people were portrayed well too. There's no way in my country that so many people would risk their lives and damage their health to clean up an accident like that.

So while I don't like communism, I think your criticism is retarded. What are they meant to do, portray the Soviets as divine, benevolent overlords?
