Don't take life too seriously?

Take nothing too seriously unless it can kill you.

I know next to nothing about Marxism, but I think it's intended outcome is a "dictatorship of the working class." I've met tons of working class people. That's a retarded idea.

That passion fades as you get older, which is why most great filmmakers become washed up hacks at some point

He woke up as matured

working class citizens want capitalism because they dont trust the working class
rich bastards want communism because they dont trust rich bastards
truth is humans are shit at ruling and we need computers to rule

It's not.

It's basically about having smaller communities of fewer than a couple hundred people who have a group assembly to chat out what the commune needs to do, assigns tasks, distributes resources etc and makes decisions about how they'll interact with other communes to trade or whatever.

There's a bunch of extra shit people do or don't think you need to make this idea work, but that's the idea.

Technically, the dictatorship of the proletariat is supposed to only be a stepping stone to a truly communist economy: a classless society where everything is owned in common and there is no longer any need for political parties or even states. So-called proletarian government is supposedly a means to an end, not the envisioned end itself.

The problem is that a truly communist economy is a Utopian pipe dream, and so Marxist countries invariably get stuck in the dictatorship stage.

That's a one of many niches of niches of Marxism you have described there.

>I've met tons of working class people
Which is more than any Marxist academic has ever done.

you are talking about primitivist communism, like the real actual system that early tribes could had used, marxism is industrial communism, and the dictatorship of the proletariat is at is core

Sounds like he grew up.

OC donnut steel

cultural marxism is a made up term and all the degeneracy that essay is moaning about is caused by capitalism.

all terms are made up

lol, being a commie is literally like having brain damage. Why don't you just hang yourself already?

Where are the commies? I can't see any around here.

bump

Sounds like something an elitist would say...then again i dont own anything so maybe hes right.

What's an elitist?

Film directors seem like the most prentoius pieces of shit ever to exist. I like their films but they seem like disgusting people to spend 5 seconds with.

go read a book then instead of spouting nonsense, you ignorant fuck

Goddamn it'd be cool if you were found dead

What were the classes of the various leaders involved in WW2 again?

I'm a working class citizen and I want communism because I don't trust rich bastards.

do something about it, pussy

I don't know. What were they?

how is cinema supposed to be "redemptive"? was it a terrible word choice, did he thought it sounds cool, or did he really believe movies would cure you or something?

I wrote 3 essays the past semester on cultural Marxism one being focused on the cM of “They Live” and the professor of that course who was a self proclaimed Marxist did not argue about the legitimacy of the word.

I remember being a bit of a pretentious asshole 2-3 years ago but now I’m an insufferable elitist who looks down on people despite only making a semi successful documentary, selling a script to Netflix and have been working an a film
I also heavily criticize “art” films like Roma Moonlight and Get Out whenever someone praises them

So the final stage is as unachievable as a carrot on a stick

who tf was the genius that thought a dictator would willingly give up his power? marx? ain't no roman times

we just have to make better humans first

>believing in marxism
>ever
here's something else you can start believing in!

it was a different time

Marxism is also a made up term.

Italian directors are notorious for being very talented pretentious idiots.

Not that guy but it's a good point. Stalin was a thief and a banker robber, son of a clergy man or some shit. Mussolini was the son of a socialist peasant. Hitler - a poor painter.

Hitler was the son of a low level public worker
Mussolini was the son of a quasi-anarchist blacksmith, and was a socialist until the end of ww1
Stalin was from a poor georgian family
Churchill was the son of a high level nobleman with many famous ancestors and an American socialite
FDR belonged to one of the oldest and richest New York families

DOes this mean that Capitalists trust their economy on those more experienced and observant/indulgent on all levels of wealth vs Communists/socialists who believe those who control the wealth of the majority of the people should be people within that majority? Sort of how people were able to trust Trump with the economy because he knew how industry worked on all levels vs Bernie Sanders who’s economic views villanozed those above him?

This
>In the early 1990s, when gay rights activists, international human rights organizations, and the European Council started to press the Romanian government to decriminalize homosexuality and ensure equal rights for all citizens, the political élites and the Orthodox Church claimed that sexual minorities did not exist in Romania prior to 1989 and that homosexuality was only an undesirable product of capitalism, a lifestyle induced by the Western democracies, and not a part of the heteronormative Romanian culture

Duck, you sucker

georgian bankrobber
some freemason from missouri (?)
a poor boi from austria

woah, this syncs up perfectly with the music I'm listening to right now
very based
