Society

Idris Elba

Idk but he looked kind of plain

The person who murdered the victims.

The audience or Arthur Leigh Allen, your pick.

How has this become one of Yea Forums's favorite films when it's so inaccessible? I don't think it's ever been released on home video in America.

because everyone is on ptp

Piracy, duh.

Because we're kino chad's

What film is this, bros...

Hoping with his Cannes win, this will finally get a decent release in the states.

Reminiscence of Homicide.

I know everybody here pirates, but why this movie? Yea Forums barely knows anything but capeshit. How does everyone know this one movie that's never really been released in America? I think they showed it on Turner Classic Movies once.

>Yea Forums barely knows anything but capeshit
>t. tourist trying to fit in

because korean cinema was in vogue here half a decade ago and this is one of the best examples of the genre

Me, I'm the killer, and you'll never catch me.

this guy

For me, it's Gisaengchung by Korean auteur Bong Joon-Ho, winner of the 2019 Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival

>“Yup, That’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.”

I was.

It's not even remotely inaccessible, I think a lot of people here who talk about it overrate it quite a fair bit. But, to use a typical critic phase, it's very gripping from start to finish and it's not exactly hyper ahead of its time and highly experimental lol. Pretty much anyone who's watched it will say it's good (though some will say it's the best thing ever made, or the best ever crime movie/police movie/Korean movie/Asian movie/serial killer movie/mystery movie/etc. which I wouldn't agree with in any of those categories (again I think it's good so nobody go sperging out on me if you were planning to).
Or if you meant accessible to get hold of and watch with English subtitles and everything else I said was totally irrelevant to what you asked, your answer is that probably literally 98-99% of Yea Forums posters who actually regularly watch movies and don't just shitpost about Marvel/GoT do so by torrenting them, and MoM is a highly popular movie (relatively obviously. Among people who are actually interested in movies at any level under what's playing in theaters. Regulars on IMDB, Letterboxd, here, and, as scary as the eyes I'm going to use is, I'm willing to bet big bucks that it's also very well-known and liked on Reddit movie forums. And basically the better known the movie, the easier it is to find torrents for it.
So basically you can DL a really good quality copy with English subs on just about any site that does movie torrents.

Park's the killer but the semen in the victims are from the retarded kid.

I meant it in the second way. It's a great movie, but I just wondered how it was so popular here when it's never really been released in America. The Reddit thing makes sense.
