My experience over the past 5 seasons was that the free feeds were a hassle to watch. The biggest hassle was the nightly update to the link, which caused a lot of the feeds to go down until the site operator updated the data. Russian cave was particularly a hassle to use because the guy who runs it is a huge faggot megalomaniac...and then there was the begging the ops to give you the updated url. But, they were free. And if you couldn't pay for (or didn't want to pay for) the feeds they offered an alternative. I've been paying for the official feeds for a few seasons now. I don't know how I functioned before without flashbacks (I guess some of the free sites have flashbacks now?).

I don't care where people get their feeds from. If people ask for free feed in these threads I always give them links. We are all enjoying the same show/feeds.

Bullshit. Feeds are feeds, they don't generate or exclude you from any sense of community. You get that "community feeling" from fun posting on channel 4, or reddit, or jokers, or survivorsucks(rip), or you favorite chatroom/discord. I've been posting in bb threads since they were banished from Yea Forums. These threads give me a sense of community, not the source of the feeds (I also used to post a lot on jokers, but not so much now).

All the crazy houseguests who are fun to watch have been evicted and alliances have solidified so 80% what happens is determined by comps.

Less people and most are fine with "just making it to jury". They need to up the prize to 1mil and cast fewer pushovers.

I would say it is because the stakes for getting evicted are lower, so the houseguest who is likely to go get lots of votes is less likely to try to stay or have a fun messy entertaining meltdown. They know they're getting full pay and are probably even relieved that they're now going to a house that is more private.
