piss in u

No he's the old Chris Nolan

hes tarantino if tarantino wasnt good at dialogue and story telling

i liked neon demon and drive but only god forgives and too old to die young were pretty bad.

too old to die young is like if you took a 2 hour movie and stretched it out to 13 hours without adding any plot to it.

New Kubrick

the episode with the pornographers was good though. if the entire show was more like that it might have been decent.

I've never seen Refn making films by making a collage of films he like. Can't say the same for Hackantino.

>I've never seen a Refn film
ok

Your reading comprehension would be better if you stopped browsing this place and took a book in your hands for the first time in your pathetic Life

irony

Just because it's irony it doesn't mean it's good or justified for being bad

Unironically the new Friedkin.

no retard. this post is ironic. and, ironically, so is this lmao. god ur stupid

So how much did Amazon waste on Too Old to Flop Hard?

But they're not

its ok. this is why ur dum, user :^) no one expects you to understand

Guy Ritchie on Xanax

He's sort of the reverse Tarantino who takes influence from highbrow directors and turns them into lowbrow porno.
>Valhalla Rising
Tarkovsky
>Bronson
Kubrick
>Only God Forgives
Jodorowsky
>TOTDY and Fear X
David Lynch

I've never seen Refn making films by making a collage of films he like. Can't say the same for Hackantino.

i could feel him lose interest in TOTDY as it went on, not even because of the spaced dialogue and the overuse of stills but it just felt like his visual well had dried up.

>Nic, we still have to shoot the second half of the final episode!
>Nic, come back!
>Niiiic!

In what way? None of his works have twist endings in them. Oh shit, I just realized Too Old To Die Young is out and I haven't seen it yet, I'd better close this thread so I don't spoil anything.

Ah, highbrow directors such as David Lunch

nah

Episode 3, 4, 5 and 6 were legitimately very good.
He had enough energy for half a series
