Most pitbull owners treat them as any other dog and they really arent.
They require special training and should not be allowed near other smaller dogs or children.

Morons expect them to behave just like labradors or poodles and they don't.
If people knew how to actually take the time and effort to raise a pit then we wouldn't be having these issues.

I also don't think pits are the only troublesome breed (though they are definitely the worst by far)

German shepards, rottwielers and dobermans also require knowledgable owners and should not be treated like apartment dogs.

Certain breeds require the correct environment and discipline in order to be manageable and without that they can take out their energy, agression, and animal instincts on people and other pets.

I'm not a bootlicker but i really do think that we need some kind of better system for preventing dumb people from obtaining certain breeds.
It would not only be better for our own safety but also for the quality of life for the animals.

Pretty sure the stats are skewed because there are way, way more pit bulls than rottweilers in the US. Back when I volunteered at the animal shelter, every other dog was a pit. Also there's the fact that there's a lot more leeway about what's considered a pit bull, basically if they have one drop of pit blood they're considered pits (like niggers lol).
