I dislike TOTDY because that is literally all it was. Absolutely none of the energy that I saw in the Pusher movies. Instead of creative camera use that matches the tension of the story we get one long shot after another with characters leaning against walls. Episode 5 was the only one that felt like it had a shred of life. Not a single character that I could be invested in. And I don't need a character to be a 'good guy' for me to invest in their story, but I need to feel their struggle, some dramatic weight, whereas all the characters in TOTDY feel like mannequins. Which I guess is fitting in a way because the show as a whole felt like a moving fashion shoot.

Who said anything about being objective. Do you really judge stuff based solely on objective criteria? And if that is the case then what criteria, because at the point where you are being paid to make movies or shows then chances are you able to perform all the objective, technical requirements of movie making at a competent level, in which case every movie is objectively adequate and nothing else.
