There is no shittier decade. 2020s will be worse though.

Anything that is before color. I can't stand black and white movies

Retard.

the 2000s

Impossible, but the early 90s comes close.

The 90's.

Definitely this decade is the worst.

Exactly

If you're older than 25, it's definitely difficult to avoid the notion that Disney capeshit was calculatedly designed with the hope of indoctrinating and sedating the American populace, so that the harrowing paradigm shifts in slowed economic mobility, the death of the white middle class, and the drastic brownskin flood of illegal immigration wouldn't hit so hard.

Capeshit hasn't just killed the 2010s, it's killed the 2020s. There's no underground at all now. It can't exist. There's no Robert Altmans or Carpenters who are holed up with their creative teams, getting stoned and attempting to destroy the corporate dystopia with wild punk indie kino. Disney knows this. A boot stomping on your face forever. Thats what Phase 4 will be. And then Phase 5 (2025-2030) will be X-Men and FF. And then Phase 6 will be Avengers vs X-Men, or Galactus.

And the Oscars will award more capeshit. And Disney+ will saturate the market with more home capeshit. All the resources of youth are being sucked into this vortex. And all the history of kino, the legacies of so many artists, are being prematurely eclipsed. And then there's Fortnite, which is 40% owned by Communist China via Tenchent.

Used to be fun finding out the next three months or year of films in advance. Reading box office every weekend. Not every hour. Not knowing Disney's plans 10 years before and it being debated two years before it even begins. JJ Abrams getting a $500 million deal. For what? Running Star Wars and Star Trek off the road into a pond of greed?

All these capeshit movies becoming prequels of literal revisionist American history, what affect does this have on Zoomers? They are repaving all of American history. Until reality can't compete. Terrifying. And I exagerrate not one bit.

No the 90's were great. Thats why they are trying to save this tragic decade by rebooting and redoing everything thats from there.

the 50's start out pretty shit. but get better in the latter half of the decade.

1970's was pretty trash outside of Star Wars.

>New Hollywood era
>trash
kys

80s was a shitty decade.

inb4 somebody mentions blockbusters

art films where basically dead in the 80s

90's was a shitty era of films of forgettable disaster movies.

low quality bait but the 70s ironically has the most hidden gems of any decade.

The 2000s.

>Hollywood Golden Age
>All Quiet in the Western Front
>Hitchcock, Buñuel, Fritz Lang, Joseph Steinberg, Lubitsch
>Universal Monsters Films
>GONE WITH THE WIND
>Walt Disney, he Looney Tunes
>Howard Hawks, John Ford, Raoul Walsh
>King Kong, It happend one night,
>Harold Lloyd, Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Marx Brothers
>Dzigha Vertov, Leni Rifenstahl, Shumyatsky, Eisenstein and Prokofiev.
kys

It's ok.
Most of the digital films of this era will be lost sooner than the photochemical copies of the 1970s.

The Marx Bros best movies were in the 30s too.

Oh, nevermind you mentioned them.

>Blade Runner
>The Thing
>Ran
>Fanny and Alexander
