Music, framing, themes, even the iconic factor, etc. Kubrick is superior in every way. And he wasn't a nerd. He was an übermensch, a far greater filmmaker than Lynch. Lynch is a nice guy, he isn't a chad.

Kubrick was anti pretentious. All of his movies are easily accessible and clear. Only The Shining gets a little too vague.

This, but unironically. I think Egbert really gets how meh the films are.

Anyone who has seen S3 of Twin Peaks knows Lynch is Turbo-Pretentious. That whole atomic bomb episode? NiN playing at the end, a random band at the end of every episode. Watching some retard sweep the floor for 4 mins in the middle of an episode... Gimme a break right in the goat ass.
