that said, I myself lock my apartment with an audible key (audience left) and then walk down my quiet, narrow tenement hall with the few overhead lights, toward the parking lot. I do imagine myself as the nurse, checking to make sure the door remains in place.

The scariest scene for me was in Dawn of the Dead (2004) When she left the house steps in the car and you see everything go to shit in the background. Absolute kino because it's purely due to the atmosphere that gives it the scary vibe
