I imagine what actually happened was Fukunaga showed up to set late for an undisclosed reason (could be anything from traffic to illness to being on the phone with the producer) and while he was gone some of the older more bitter crew members joked that he was probably playing videogames.
Even if that was the actual reason, no fucking way would he ever tell the crew that. So yeah, I call bs

Unions serve so the salaried is not defenseless against the greed of the company. Yes, they have been used bad and some incurr in bad practices but they are necessary, less you want companies that hire you for 2 months at a time, forbidding you of generating antiquity (don't know the correct term) and being fucked over when they want.
