I imagined the male character as a self-insert, I'm assuming you left him a bit blank slatey for that reason (haven't seen the Incredibles 2 so I dunno if Violet has a bf in the movie). I liked the way you described the taste of the liquor in her mouth from a kid's perspective, something unknown but intriguing. Your language is descriptive without being overly florid. You show the personalities of the characters through their dialogue and action well, I thought that was especially true of the Rhonda story. Normally punctuation/syntax stuff annoys me a little but I was aroused enough to not mind. I definitely enjoy your work and now that I know you're a fellow lurker I'll get around to reading your catalogue eventually.
