Was there a Jason/Pluto switcharoo?

Also I like how the ending makes the movie change completely. Any other films like that?

It wasn't exactly the end but the third act twist in Oblivion made me watch the whole movie again straight afterwards to see if it makes sense with the new information, it does and it makes certain character interactions make a lot more sense. Also The Sixth Sense, obviously.

Ugly people of this degree should never be in tv or movies

There's literally nothing ugly about Lupita
She's the hottest niggress in the industry

You aren't supposed to find Red attractive, she's unkempt, as Adelaide she's very pretty

It makes no sense.
Terrible ending.

What doesn't make sense you dense motherfucker?

>as Adelaide she's very pretty

no switcharoo. both were mixed so jason was like his mom (the tethered) and pluto was like his (human). that's why pluto was good with fire while jason couldn't figure it out (slow to learn like tethered but eventually getting there, also able to control his human counterpart like how his mom's ballet controlled Adelaide's ballet).

The switch makes no sense. Are the tethered imitating their originals or otherwise? Logic would say the tethered do what the original does, she says that Abraham didn't like her but there was not much to do because the girl married Abraham's original, so they do whatever the fuck the original does.
Then after the trade how the fuck did Adelaide maintain a normal life, if she was the tethered and Red was the regular human that would dictate her behavior?

That's not even to mention how impossible of a setting was having an entire population imitating the upper world in tiny narrow tunnels.

that's the twist. it's a story about privilege. when the tethered have the luxury of a normal life they can be normal while being underground is what leads you to be controlled by your richer double

Adelaide was never tethered, she was just physically overpowered, first by Red then later by Abraham who raped her because he was tethered to Gabe.

Us was an M. Night Shyamalan movie, but well executed

nothing makes sense but it was fun

>negress is pretty
AHAHAHAAHHAHAHHAHAHHHAHAHAAHHAAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHA
>thats the twist!
the poor writing is the twist? powerful and brave risk to take

adding to this
the reason red was able to control herself underground and break free was because she had a taste of the good life. those who have never experienced that are controlled by it

>Adelaide was never tethered
They were dancing together, user.
>Without you I would have never danced

>being this much of a brainlet
it's not a genius story or narrative infact the plot is so simple black audiences understand it so why can't you

They were absolutely tethered. The dance scene leaves that clear.

The ending focused too much on her being creepy to get that message delivered. The privilege thing was obvious at first but it degrades as the movie goes on.
If it supposed to convey that being on the top was enough to make you a nice, normal person and control your other part then they shouldn't show her creepily smiling in the car.

>If it supposed to convey that being on the top was enough to make you a nice, normal person
Having the freedom to choose what to do makes you whatever the fuck you want, like Adelaide.
This part translates well into the privilege thing.
Rich and/or skilled people can choose what to do in life.

Tethered have to mimic normal people because that's the only thing they know, and thanks to the asspulled government facility that spans all across America and the half-assed "dude, half-soul!" thing the Tethered are forced to live a twisted version of the overworld people's life. This doesn't translate to the privilege thing at all because while poor/unskilled/fucking dumb people have to be a worker, penpusher (basically do what the rich tell them to do) they can still live their lives and not eat raw rabbit or be raped by the Tether of your real person's husband/boyfriend or give birth in a shithole, etc.

What does Yea Forums think of the 5 on it fight scene?
It was pretty kino.
