I always felt that Stannis, Theon and Jaime were by far the most interesting characters, in the books at least. And while mishandled in the show (especially Stannis and Jaime) they had great actors.

D&D are fags who are basically fishing for emmies, and they don't think you can act while wearing a helmet. This is a common trope where the good guys never wear helmets so that you can tell who they are, which is fucking gay and also fake to history. A medieval knight would stand out like a road flare because his armor would have its own livery, helmet would have its own distinct ornamentation, etc.
But that's just not cool enough, every kind of fantasy armor has to be some sort of weird combination of a trenchcoat and weird segmented plates. Also everything is grimy looking.

No. The show cast was fine, but I see no particular reason for this. The ages alone would make it a non-starter: the kids' VAs would be middle ages and the adults' would be elderly. Also Dinklage's British accent was weak, so it would be hard to justify keeping him when his height no longer matters.
