ITT, actual kino in capeshit.
ITT, actual kino in capeshit
too bad it was cut from the final film
Nothing is more kino than the Raimi trilogy
I think Snyder is an unmitigated hack, but the entire origin sequence for Dr. Manhattan is fucking brilliant.

A lot of solid, really entertaining movies, but I'm genuinely struggling to think of an truly kino moments in the MCU...
That’s someone else designed? Sure.
You talking about on the filmmaking crew or Moore/Gibbons?
Most of the MCU
"No"
Been a while since I watched it, but I remember being really struck by some of the shots in the first Thor. I thought the dutch angles were overused, but Branagh did a lot of cool stuff in it.
"Yes"
"No"
Xavier's burial was good too
nothing will ever come close to Daredevil season 3 imo
The director's cut of Watchmen has a scene that I actually think is rather wonderful and poignant, especially when you consider it's all a case of mistaken identity.

snyder has a pretty good sense of visual aesthetics, one that goes pretty well for adapting gritty fantastic settings. He's just absolutely garbage on the writing side.
>snyder has a pretty good sense of visual aesthetics
No, he can just competently copy an aesthetic that is already created and essentially storyboarded for him by a comic.
I don't think he's actually capable of creating anything on his own.
kek
too bad those marvel netflix series are all garbage except the last 5 mins of the season
The opening credit sequence is unironically kino.
I like the Nolan films just fine but they lacked the style and visual flair that I loved so much in the Burton films.
>i feel fear for the last time
absolute kino
Superman (1978) is capekino
>that eye that turns and watches him as hes going
creepy as fuck
did you pay money to watch this in theatres?
TDK is not capeshit, it's a neo-noir film.
Where do these paintings go when they're done with them?
no, i pirated it and enjoyed it. now you can suck on my big fat cock.
that's a good question, I imagine they just get shuffled away to storage and get thrown out over the years

What I appreciate about Snyder is his understanding that the villain always believes he is the good guy. You would never hear a tornado refer to itself as the villain.
Which is in the comic.
HAHAHA OHHHHHHHH imagine being a fan of this shit
This scene from Wolverine is kino
youtu.be
go away ladderbro
>enjoyed it.
have sex
"Yes"
I agree that the others are garbage but Daredevil is pretty solid from start to finish. The fantastic stunt choreography and simplistic, focused story-lines really help with that.
cringe and bluepilled
>not posting what is without a doubt the most significant scene in all of cinema
I know it's filmed and the actors were told not to, but the characters watching that fucking loony behave that way should be laughing their asses off at him.
Banepilled.
/thread
Don't quote nobody.
>the chanting music starts as soon as bane is unmasked
Pure kino. Best opening sequence in a capeshit film.
This unironically desu
>Superman can fight the Flash at super high speed but is still slightly slower than him
Always likee this detail.
>Daredevil is pretty solid from start to finish.
The second season was awful.
The issue explaining Dr.Manhattan’s past is my absolute favorite comic book.
Movie did a decent job and it’s probably my favorite scene in the whole movie.
I mean I wouldn’t give him too much credit. Lot of the writing and structure of these scenes were straight from the comic.
creepy
great scene
Daily reminder
>Dr. Manhattan got his powers from getting disintegrated by that machine he built
>Ozymandias built a replica of it in his Antarctic stronghold and blasted Dr. Manhattan with it to try and kill him
>However Bubastis was blasted with the machine as well and was disintegrated
>that means in the Watchmen universe there's now a mutant cat with nigh god-like powers as well, just waiting to figure out how to materialize its body again
>bomb falls in a perfectly vertical line
