Just how bad was she as captain?
Just how bad was she as captain?
An answer would be nice
she got them home didn't she? and also stole some sweet borg tech from the future to fuck up those dominion niggers with
Pretty bad. Violated a bunch of laws. Sacrificed her crew over the well being of some fucking aliens they just met. You aren't supposed to interfere lady, if the Ocampa are going to get wiped out by the Kazon that's just how it goes, you should have left them alone and used the array to get back home then and there.
Her main problem was the writers were too scared to make her human and fallible.
Riker and Worf questioned Picard's decisions, and Dax could give her input to Sisko, but because Janeway is a woman they were scared to have the male characters second-guess her, which is boring.
She got home with only a few casualties. But that's not good enough so she violates more laws to go back and try again getting everyone home. Erasing 30 years of history those crew members had in that lifetime.
Not that bad. And I speak for all of /trek/ gerenal when I say this.
Not bad given the context she was a first time mission captain who got dragged into a complete shit situation with no immediate out.
Her biggest fucking problem was dealing with the Kazon in the worst way possible of not just giving them water.
One thing she did wrong
>Q: I'll get you home just let's have a baby together
>Janeway: Hmm no, I won't fault on my principals
next episode
>Tuvok: Captain Kazon ship hailing us they surrender
>JW: Mr. Tuvok I want you to fire all photon torpedoes on that ship I don't want even an spec of dust from their ship to be intact
>all photon torpedoes
How many would that be?
