His movies are cancer

Why is he so beloved?

He can write good dialogue.

Cause he made a couple of good movies back in the 90s

From 14-23 I revered his movies. But in hindsight he is an immature filmmaker who can't hand any theme that isn't about loyalty or death. For all his good dialogue his characters have long since stopped saying anything of value (if ever).

no one:

absolutely nobody:

not a single soul:

OP: waah stop liking things I don't like!!

Billy Wilder,Neil Simon, and david mamet are better and should be the gold standard

Yeah but this is still childish pretentiousness. At some point you have to accept he makes above average flicks that are fun to watch and enjoy them as they are instead of insisting there's some deeper meaning to them or looking down on them from the lofty heights of whatever pretentious shit you've moved onto

Thanks for the meme, Reddit!

Yeah I like his movies. But the change is with me. I just aged out of his core edgy appeal. Same with Fight Club for example.

because youre a fucking retard that cant tell the difference between good and bad
go back to watching your youtube tard ebin meme channels you fucking shiteating fuck

Op here
Go wach a movie written by Neil Simon,Federico Fellini,Joseph L. Mankiewicz, or billy wilder and learn what real screenplay writhing is

Because he makes enjoyable flicks that are well made on a technical level.

Look at the mirror. You're the cancer.

Post Kill Bill weren’t great desu

I’m shutting your butt down.

I reject your hypothesis

>But in hindsight he is an immature filmmaker who can't hand any theme that isn't about loyalty or death.

C’mon now, at least Jackie Brown has more themes than these. Jackie Brown’s got aging and growing older, love, and survival in a cruel world as themes

He was edgy in the 1990s because he made movies that were cynical, nihilistic, and offensive with a sense of humor. He also played a great rapist in a Robert Rodriguez movie.

His movies after Kill Bill have all been about some oppressed group getting revenge on their oppressors. Which would be great if it weren't so obviously a cynical game plan to shift course away from early accusations that he was politically incorrect, sexist, etc. because of the edgelord content of his early movies.

Because he marries graphic violence and anti-White politics with clever-silly dialogue and callbacks to whatever Z-grade schlock he watched in that video store he worked at as a kid. He's the perfect filmmaker for post-cultural America.

Inglorious Bastards is terrible

he gets everyone to say nigger a lot

>Why is he so bloated?

he writes stilted, drag-ass dialogue.

his movies are the equivalent of a shitty webcomic that's just a wall of text.

>Robin Williams looks kike that
Looks like a guy you’d find in the kitchen of a gastropub
