no character development

Too many recited gags/quotes/plot elements from the first. I hate it when sequels do that.

I didn't enjoy the first one, but I liked the sequel.

Juggernaut gets taken down in the dumbest way possible. It's like if he slips on a banana peel and his helmet comes off then Domino braps in his face and he passes out.

It's not like hes dead

Yeah but electricity wouldn't take him down either. Fucking stupid. I walked out of the theatre right there.

Hi, Wade!

yea that got fucking annoying. NTW and Keiko were underused. I'm assuming for budget reasons. Would have liked to see Keiko fight more.

His face is ripped to pieces and his hair is chopped off. You're like "holy shit it's so weird why couldn't that happen at this point in his career and he's at this critical point in his development?" The only reason he didn't does it because he knew he was going, he knew he hadn't worked at this level for over six years. He had worked at it for six years in the NBA where he had a chance to learn how to dominate games for his teammates. He chose not to. He was at a disadvantage. He should have. He had no choice.

The thing about a guy whose career was cut short in an incredible, unprecedented way, that hurts a lot is that when you look back at that play and you're telling yourself, "you had the whole career to do this?" it's hard. I don't want to hear anything about him getting in trouble for it. It just seems like the same thing happened to him on all the basketball courts you know he's been on. That's the thing that's so upsetting — not that we don't respect the way that he played at that position.

I like how they killed off the x force, but thats all

Colossus stand alone movie would have been better

fuck can't even remember her name she sucked so bad. I mean Yukio

SJW references galore, for some reason.

The villains weren’t as good as the first and negasonic and coliseum had barely any screen time when their trio dynamic was better than dead pool cable domino

The first movie was basically Reddit: The Reddit Movie: Epic Reddit Memester Edition.
It was expertly crafted to appeal to those imebeciles, and it did it very well because of it.

The second movie tried to somply follow the first, without understanding that the whole premise itself was a forced meme. You can't have a sequel to a shitty meme. It doesn't work. The writers tried to continue plot points and develop characters, but what they should have done was just read the latest pages on KYM and black twitter.

Basically, not enough snoofing hecking doggos or Spongebob memes.

Doubled down too much on retarded references. The first one was fine and it felt personal.

he said reddit lmao

It tried too hard.

I liked it, especially when Brad Pitt did the cameo

Original film seems like a passion project that did much better than expected, after that people jump on board to make their mark. Doesn't always fuck a project up but is rarely good.

First Deadpool avoided politically incorrect humor but wasn't SJW. Second one goes full SJW, added stronk negress, lots of jokes about Deadpool wanting to fuck Colossus but never sexualizes the women because woke, character blurts out shes lesbian just so Deadpool can say he's ok with that, some joke about evil old white men when realistically you should be a lot more worried about your kids being around old men of any other race.

wow. And only now am i finding out she was supposed to be the same Yukio from The Wolverine

based you said reddit hahaha very cool

And the villain, after the hero had done some shit, had to play by one of his own rules of engagement, which meant getting slaughtered in the end. But that's no reason to go "fuck it, we're not finished" because the heroes are still fucking going to go to hell and damn the universe if the villain's going to get their asses handed to him.

The second half was okay, but the villain and his gang had to play hardball in order to keep the game going because at the heart of the story it was always about the heroes being better at some task than the villains, or maybe just worse at it. Not good at anything really, except for killing the villains for fun and to help with logistics to accomplish something else. And since the movie, by and large, did not have a whole lot to say about the heroes' powers, it just sort of focused on the more interesting heroes and villains while relegating the less interesting ones to the background. Even though the movie did mention the heroes' ability to "recharge their power" and "recharge the batteries", the "powered" part was simply the ability to do anything a hero could do.

>you should be a lot more worried about your kids being around old men of any other race
Old asian men are sweethearts (except the japs, they molest little girls on trains)

I really found the fat kid funny I hope hes in the next one.

>The Wolverine

This isn’t a real movie, enough with the hoax.

It tried too hard to be WOKE, something that really threw me off. When the whole point of the film was to "break the rules", yet they didnt do a single thing twitter wouldnt approve of.
That brad pitt cameo had me losing my shit though

Agree 100%. Do you think we're ever going to get a blockbuster politically-incorrect movie in the future?

There should be one eventually, my grandparents say that the whole social liberalism thing is just another trend that will plateau and go away in a few years. I think that there's gonna be a breaking point for them

>deadpool wants kids
>fiance always wanted kids
>fiance dead
>deadpool can't reach fiance
>deadpool realizes he can still be a father figure to kid
>deadpool reaches fiance finally
>deadpool mentors kid
>deadpool goes back in time and saves fiance
the (bad) humor drowned out the character development (if there was even any)
