lol ass

americans are too stupid to understand what those empires are

Because God said that they would become obscure and forgotten.

>(((God)))
Ironically Yahweh was a God in one of these pantheons

this. history begins with greece and we barely know the pantheon. east of that is just Eastern Mysticism. good luck asking anyone what happened in chiner before the nanking assrape. "silk and rice, right?"

i would love a full blown pre pre history epic.

because we don't know enough about them

you know (((why)))

Then how come (((they))) make movies about the Egyptians??

Because (((they))) (((suck))) and (((fuck)))
///ourchuck///

because fiction isn't interesting

cringe

The Scorpion king starring Dwayne "the rock" johnson

those are all misinformation anyway.

That's Egyptian, muttbrain.

based

Because they get to whine about being slaves to the Egyptians and depict how greatly the blonde and blue eyed goyim persecuted them so in pornographic detail.

>I'm so retarded I can't accept the truth

people refuse to believe that Assyrian chads conquered egypt, people refuse to accept that the ancient Assyrian language was more advanced than the kindergarten paintings egypt used.

tldr egyptaboos

>How come there are no movies about the Babylonian/Assyrian empires??

They aren't too exiting when it gets down to it unless you're into history. Wars involving Greeks were way cooler.

>t. coping seethelet

The closest they've gotten to this shit in real low pleb mainstream shit is mentioning that the rock in the scorpion king is an akkadian, I think, i can't remember that shit I saw it 20 years ago.
That and gozer in ghostbusters being worshipped by a bunch of mesopotamians like the babs or the sumerians and shit.
Beyond that it's just words that mean nothing to the viewers.

I asked once on here where there's not and never will be any Byzantine kino: just not enough interest for shit the vast majority of viewers would know or care about; might as well be a fantasy film for them, hence why fantasy would do better since there's no whingy interest groups to complain that a portrayal of X isn't accurate or representative etc.

closest we got is based Cimmerian Conan

Too many jews exist.

>He isn't because I said he isn't and your seething because I said he isn't and I'm me

So, basically, fantasy.
I've always like the idea of conan, it being set in a time so vague that they could pretty much make up any shit about it and it would fit and all.

That being said I was exited as fuck when I visited Berlin Museum on a eurotrip once because they had a special exhibit on Sumeria.
It's funny, as to study sumeria you have to know about babylon, and then to know babylon you need to be well versed in assiryianology, and to know that you have to know a bit about akkadia and to know that you have to know ancient greek.
So the babylonians are the only ones that wrote about the sumerians and the assyrians wrote about the babs and the greeks wrote about all that shit 5th hand or whatever and to top it all off you need to be fluent in german, french and english because all the archeological studies on mesopotamia were done by those three empires during the 19th and early 20th centuries. I may have the order of who wrote shit about who wrong but you get the gist.
One language became extinct with its civilisation and was used as a ceremonial/religious language by the next one in the line (like how the church uses latin today) and so on and so forth.
It's kinda fascinating that there was anything that could have been pieced together about these people at all, or that we have basically the oldest hero's quest still mostly readable today:
>the epic of girugamesh

No wonder nobody studies that shit anymore.

If I recall The assyrians dabbed on the jews pretty hard, so they probably wont have any movies from hollywood in the future. Babylonians is a weirder mystery though.

>Assyrian empire

Because no-one would make a movie that violent, for that high a budget.

dilate

Intolerance, you filthy plebeian

Everyone dabbed on the Jews pretty hard, we still get Medieval and Roman kino.

Yahweh wasn't a Babylonian god, he was probably a god of semitic tribes living to the south of Palestine. He became amalgamated with several other gods, including the Canaanite El, into the supreme god of the Israelite religion. Outside of the Hebrew Bible he's only mentioned in a few inscriptions, none of them are Babylonian.

How is anything from Conan based on Sumer or Akkad?

This is a bit late in the game, but I think this era would present kino if done right.
